    Abstract: A drug delivery device includes a housing component having an interior space and an exterior surface, an injection needle having a retracted state wherein the needle is hosted inside of the interior space and a deployed state wherein a pointed end of the needle projects beyond the exterior surface of the housing component, a needle drive mechanism coupled to the needle to move the needle between the retracted and deployed states, and a drug container disposed within the interior space. The drug container is pre-filled with sterile liquid drug and to be in fluid communication with the needle. The sterile liquid drug herein might be solution, suspension, emulation or other forms in fluid state. The drug delivery device also includes a microcontroller coupled to the needle drive mechanism. The microcontroller is configured to control the needle drive mechanism to move the needle between the retracted state and the deployed state. Further, the delivery device is wearable, disposable, and single-use.

    Abstract: A method includes a step of identifying a subject in need of diet modification; and administering a first diet to the subject for a first time period. The first diet provides 4.5 to 7 kilocalories per pound of subject for a first day and 3 to 5 kilocalories per pound of subject per day for a second to fifth day of the first diet. The first diet includes less than 30 g of sugar on the first day; less than 20 g of sugar on the second to fifth days; less than 28 g of proteins on the first day; less than 18 g of proteins on days the second to fifth days; 20 to 30 grams of monounsaturated fats on the first day; 10 to 15 grams of monounsaturated fats on the second to fifth days; and between 6 and 10 grams of polyunsaturated fats on the first day.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a new method for successfully inducing the mutation of cell chemokine receptor CCR5 gene into CCR5?32 deletion gene by using the CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technique. CCR5 is an important co-receptor for entry of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) into human host cells. CCR5?32 deletion is a 32-bp deletion in CCR5 coding region, which results in change and premature termination in the sequence following the 185th amino acid. Biallelic homozygous deletion of CCR5?32 is naturally resistant to HIV infection, i.e., the people carrying this mutation can't be infected by HIV. The present invention uses both lentiviral packaging system and the CRISPR technique to induce CCR5?32 deletion. Due to the characteristics of a wide range of Lentivirus infection, the invention can be applied to cells such as bone marrow stem cells and CD4+ T cells and can be expected to be the therapeutic drug for HIV/AIDS infection or other diseases.

According to the method, by means of the cooperation between an east-west interface of an SDN controller in an industrial backhaul network and a system manager of an industrial access network, in conjunction with the features of the industrial backhaul network and an industrial access network data packet, a flow entry matching field of an OpenFlow switch is extended, and a flow table 0 is set to be a “flow table dedicated to DDoS attack mitigation” for defending against an attacking data flow in a timely manner. By using the SDN controller of an industrial backhaul network and a DDoS attack detection and mitigation system, an attacking data flow is identified and a DDoS attack source is found, and the policy of mitigating a DDoS attack is implemented by means of scheduling a system manager of the industrial access network.

The lithography forms contact lines of widths not greater than 3 microns (?m); soft-contact lines of widths of 3˜30 ?m; and short-spaced lines of widths of 30˜200 ?m. The present invention avoids the mask from contact wear-out for multiple uses, and further reduces the replacement rate.
