    Abstract: A method of stabilizing a clinical thermometer and the apparatus thereof are disclosed. The method comprises the steps of pre-heating the surrounding temperature to a pre-set temperature prior to using the clinical thermometer for measuring temperature; and providing compensational temperature by way of heat energy by a control circuit such that the surrounding temperature is maintained and stabilized at the pre-set temperature so as to avoid the change of the surrounding temperature from affecting the measured temperature. The stabilizing devices for a clinical thermometer comprises a clinical thermometer probe head which is a material capable of producing heat energy; and a heating controller connected to the probe head which provides cavity heating for the probe head prior to temperature measuring to the pre-set surrounding temperature, thereby the heating controller causes the surrounding temperature to maintain at a constant and stable temperature such that the precision of measuring is accurate.

    Abstract: An improved structure of the measuring end of a clinical thermometer having a body and a measuring end, characterized in that an pivotal actuating articulation is formed at the junction connecting the measuring end and the body such that the measuring end can be turned and positioned at an angle, thereby the user can hold the thermometer in a comfortable position in measuring the body temperature. The positioning of the pivotal actuating articulation is attained by having a protrusion in engagement with a cavity or an embossed mark. The entire surface of the thermometer is covered with a soft material outerjacket such that the articulation is hidden.

    Abstract: A thermometer having a tubular measuring end, a metal head engaged with the tubular measuring end, a sensor arranged within the metal head, and epoxy filled inside the metal head, the metal head being a tubular member with an open end and a closed end, the improvement wherein a tubular metal sleeve made of conducting material is fitted inside the tubular metal head, the tubular metal sleeve having a bottom formed with an inner surface that curves outwardly and an outer surface that curves inwardly the bottom being formed with a center hole and a radial notch, the sensor being positioned in a space which is enclosed by the metal head and the bottom of the tubular metal sleeve, whereby when the tubular measuring end is fitted into the metal head, the tubular metal sleeve will be pushed into the metal head thereby squeezing the gem into the tubular metal sleeve and the tubular measuring end through the center hole and therefore reinforcing engagement between the tubular metal sleeve and the tubular measuring end

    Abstract: A grip-aid gripping bandage adopted to be disposed over a finger or glove to protect the finger when using sports equipment or a hand tool and to provide enhanced control when using the sports equipment or hand tool. A first self-adhering strip is provided having a first predetermined length. A coat of adhesive material may be applied to a portion of a bottom surface of the first self-adhering strip. A second cushioning strip overlies a portion of and is bonded to an upper surface of the first self-adhering strip. The entire bandage, including the first self-adhering strip and the second cushioning strip, provides protection from abrasion)and pressure when the bandage is applied to a finger. In a further embodiment, an insert is disposed between the first self-adhering strip and the second cushioning strip for enhanced protection for the finger.
