  • Patent number: 7911085
Abstract: The power saving uninterruptible power supply (UPS) has a first and second switches, an energy spared switch, a transformer, an automatic voltage regulator (AVR), a charger-and-inverter, a normal mode determination unit and an electric switch. When the utility power is stable, the first and second switches are connected together to supply the utility power to a load. At the time, the energy spared switch is physically disconnected with the utility power and the transformer and the AVR. Therefore, the transformer and AVR do not consume more energy of the utility power and the transforming efficiency of the UPS is increased.

  • Patent number: 7904890
Abstract: A mechanism is disclosed for determining how thoroughly a set of code has been tested. The mechanism involves identifying which portions within the set of code are interface portions and which portions are internal portions. A test is executed to test the set of code. Based upon a set of testing information derived from the test, an interface test metric is derived that provides a measure of how thoroughly the interface portions were tested by the test. Based upon the set of testing information, an internal test metric is derived that provides a measure of how thoroughly the internal portions were tested by the test. In one embodiment, an overall measure of how thoroughly the set of code has been tested by the test is derived, based upon the interface test metric and the internal test metric.

  • Patent number: 7764555
Abstract: A leakage testing method for a DRAM having a recess gate is provided. The method includes the steps of: programming to set the first storage unit and the second storage unit of a same memory cell with different storage statuses; and disturbing one of the word lines extending through the memory cells; then determining whether the DRAM is acceptable or not. When another one of the word lines extending through the memory cells is caused with a reading error by disturbing the one of the word lines extending through the memory cells, a failure is determined as occurred, and the failure is attributed to a leakage type of extended depletion region. When the another one of the word lines extending through the memory cells is not caused with a reading error by disturbing the one of the word lines extending through the memory cells, the DRAM is determined as acceptable.

  • Publication number: 20100105569
Abstract: The present invention features improved methods of in vitro RNA display to allow reliable expression and selection of scFv antibody molecules from expression libraries. The improved methods, in part, involve the use of mildly reducing conditions, which favor of scFv intra-chain disulphide bond and thus correct folding of the scFv antibody molecules. Although particularly suited to expression and selection of scFv antibody molecules, the methods of the invention are also expedient for in vitro RNA display of all classes of protein.
