    Abstract: The present invention provides a method for predicting treatment efficacy of peginterferon plus ribavirin treatment in a subject suffering from chronic hepatitis C comprising: (a) measuring gene expression levels of genes comprising RSAD2, LOC26010, HERC5, HERC6, IFI44, SERPING1, IFITM3 and DDX60 of a blood sample from the subject after one week of the peginterferon plus ribavirin treatment; and (b) calculating a gene score according to cumulative fold change of the gene expression levels, when the gene score is equal to or higher than a cut-off value, the method predicts successful treatment of chronic hepatitis C with the peginterferon plus ribavirin treatment for the subject.

    Abstract: A processing method of hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution includes the following steps. Base on a high catalytic trait of the catalase mixing aqueous solution relative to the hydrogen peroxide, aqueous solution and catalase mixing aqueous solution are provided into a semi-batch reactor that has a fixed capacity. Hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution/hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution with catalase is added into the semi-batch reactor, wherein the concentration of the hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution is from 0.5% to 90%. The hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution and the catalase mixing aqueous solution are reacted in the semi-batch reactor, and transformed into catalase mixing aqueous solution and hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution that has a concentration lower relative to the original concentration to effectively reduce the warming ratio and the boosting ratio of the semi-batch reactor for safely and effectively processing the hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution having a concentration from 0.5% to 90%.

According to a first voltage from a portable electronic device, the voltage converter generates a second voltage when the first USB interface is coupled to the portable electronic device, wherein the second voltage is larger than the first voltage. When the physiologic rhythm signal indicates that cardiac arrhythmia is present in the patient, the stimulation module provides an electric shock energy to the chest of the patient via the first and second electrodes according to the second voltage.

After culturing, detect the green fluorescence intensity of these fibroblast cells, then decide if the analyte promotes LOXL1 gene expression by checking if the green fluorescence intensity is increased.
