  • Patent number: 11228483
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, computer media, and apparatuses for providing resource tracking, such as in a data center environment. A control and monitoring node receives updates indicating instantiation of resources in the computing system network. The control and monitoring node determines that there are duplicate resources in the network, and then determines which of the duplicate resources to provide connectivity to. The control and monitoring node provides network configuration updates to various networking resources in the network to provide network connectivity to the one of the duplicate resources in the network.

  • Patent number: 11226817
Abstract: A set of dependence relationships in a set of program instructions is detected by a processor. The set of dependence relationships comprises a first load instruction to load a first data object and a second load instruction to load a second data object from a second address that is provided by address data within the first data object. The processor identifies a number of dependence instances in the set of dependence relationships and determines that the number is over a pattern threshold. The processor sends an enhanced load request to a memory controller. The enhanced load request comprises instructions to load the first data object from a first address on a physical page, locate address data in the first data object based on a memory offset, load the second data object from a second address in the address data, and transmit the first and second data objects to the processor.

  • Patent number: 11218876
Abstract: Wireless communication between two electronic devices may be used to determine a distance between the two devices, even in the presence of an otherwise-disruptive attacker. A wireless receiver system of one device may receive a true wireless ranging signal from a first transmitting device and a false wireless ranging signal from an attacker. The wireless receiver system may correlate the wireless signals with a known preamble sequence and perform channel estimation using the result, obtaining a channel impulse response for the wireless signals. The wireless receiver system may filter the channel impulse response for the plurality of wireless signals by removing at least part of the channel impulse response due to the false wireless ranging signal while not removing at least part of the channel impulse response due to the true wireless ranging signal. The receiver system may perform a wireless ranging operation using the filtered channel impulse response.

  • Publication number: 20210403240
Abstract: A method for transporting objects using a pallet pick put system. The method includes placing an Object Carrying Unit (OCU) at a first location by a bot. The bot is designed to move the Object Carrying Unit (OCU) and receives an address of the first location. Further, the Object Carrying Unit (OCU) is clamped by a clamping unit to restrict movement of the Object Carrying Unit (OCU). A pallet and an object placed over the pallet are lifted using a mechanical equipment designed for transporting objects. Further, the pallet and the mechanical equipment are aligned by an alignment unit. Further, the pallet and the object are transferred on the Object Carrying Unit (OCU). Thereafter, the bot is instructed to carry the Object Carrying Unit (OCU) upon loading to a second location after the Object Carrying Unit (OCU) is released by the clamping unit.

  • Publication number: 20210406238
Abstract: Techniques for cloning, writing to, and reading from file system metadata. Cloning involves identifying a first set of pointers included h a first root node in a file system metadata tree structure that stores file system metadata n leaf nodes of the tree structure, creating a first copy of the first root node that includes the first set of pointers, creating a second copy of the first root node that includes the first set of pointers, associating the first copy with a first view, and associating the second copy with a second view. Reading generally involves traversing the tree structure towards a target leaf node that contains data to be read. Writing generally involves traversing the tree structure n the same manner, but also creating copies of any nodes to be modified if those nodes are deemed to have a different treeID than a particular root node.

  • Patent number: 11212642
Abstract: Methods and devices are provided for allowing a mobile device (e.g., a key fob or a consumer electronic device, such as a mobile phone, watch, or other wearable device) to interact with a vehicle such that a location of the mobile device can be determined by the vehicle, thereby enabling certain functionality of the vehicle. A device may include both RF antenna(s) and magnetic antenna(s) for determining a location of a mobile device relative to the vehicle. Such a hybrid approach can provide various advantages. Existing magnetic coils on a mobile device (e.g., for charging or communication) may be re-used for distance measurements that are supplemented by the RF measurements. Any device antenna may provide measurements to a machine learning model that determines a region in which the mobile device resides, based on training measurements in the regions.

  • Patent number: 11211324
Abstract: An example via contact patterning method includes providing a pattern of alternating trench contacts and gates over a support structure. For each pair of adjacent trench contacts and gates, a trench contact is electrically insulated from an adjacent gate by a dielectric material and/or multiple layers of different dielectric materials, and the gates are recessed with respect to the trench contacts. The method further includes wrapping a protective layer of one or more dielectric materials, and a sacrificial helmet material on top of the trench contacts to protect them during the via contact patterning and etch processes for forming via contacts over one or more gates. Such a method may advantageously allow increasing the edge placement error margin for forming via contacts of metallization stacks.
