  • Publication number: 20130335447
Abstract: In a method for playing real-images in a virtual reality using an electronic device, the method generates a request for obtaining a real-time image of a scene and notifies a Virtual Reality(VR) client to send the request to a web sever to obtain the real-time image. The real-time image is cut into a sequence of static pictures by the web server, and is sent to the VR client through a network. The method triggers the VR client to play each of the sequence of static pictures to present the real-time image on a display screen of the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 8510938
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for assembling a camera module. The method includes putting plural conductive bumps on a conductive contact of a substrate such that a large conductive bump is formed, and pressing the substrate and an image chip together such that the conductive contact contacts with a pad formed on the image chip through the large conductive bump to combine the conductive contact and the pad. Since there is no contact between the substrate and the image chip but the large conductive bump, the method decreases the probability for fracture between the substrate and the image chip and improves the quality of the camera module.

  • Publication number: 20130210281
Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating housing defining a plurality of terminal grooves of substantial U-shape, and a plurality of electrical terminals of which each has a contact arm, a positioning body of a substantially inverted-U shape and a connecting arm connected between two bottom ends of the contact arm and one arm of the positioning body. The electrical terminal is assembled upward in the terminal groove. The contact arm and the one arm of the positioning body incline towards each other to make tops thereof project out of the terminal groove for clamping a mating terminal of a mating connector therebetween. A top sidewall of the terminal groove corresponding to the contact arm is inclined downward from outside to inside to be designated as a blocking wall which is located above the contact arm to restrict the contact arm in the terminal groove.

  • Patent number: 8434206
Abstract: A clutching jig includes a pair of clutching bars, a pair of clutching pieces and a protecting means. Each of the clutching bars includes a top end portion and a bottom end portion. The top end portions are connected to each other and the bottom end portion are separated from each other. Each of the clutching pieces is fixed to the bottom end portion of each of the clutching bars. The clutching pieces are covered by the protecting means and exposed from the protecting means via the protecting means moved relative to the clutching pieces. The protecting blocks will cover the clutching pieces if the clutching jig is unused. The protecting blocks will slide upwardly relative to the clutching bars to urge the clutching pieces to be exposed if the clutching jig is used. Hence, the protecting blocks can protect the clutching pieces to prevent the clutching pieces from damage.

  • Patent number: 8432453
Abstract: A method of starting snapping a static scene is applied to a system, which is electrically connected with an image-capturing device and a display device. The display device has a displaying zone for display a visual field of the image-capturing device. After an instruction of setting a block in the displaying zone is received by the system, a skin color coverage percentage of the block is calculated. According to the skin color coverage percentage, the system determines whether the scene within the visual field is stored or not. By the method and system of the present invention, a self-timer function is activated according to the skin color.

  • Patent number: 8368872
Abstract: A method for determining the planting ball number of a camera module is provided. The camera module includes a substrate and a chip. The substrate includes an opening and a plurality of contact pads. The opening of the substrate has four rims. The method includes the following steps. Firstly, an image pickup device is used to detect an average contact pad distance of the distances from four specified contact pads of the substrate to the image pickup device. Then, a smallest opening distance among four opening distances from the four rims to the image pickup device is acquired. Then, plural actual contact pad distances from all contact pads to the image pickup device are acquired. The planting ball number for each contact pad is calculated according to these distances. Consequently, the quality of assembling the camera module is enhanced.

  • Patent number: 8189942
Abstract: A focus-quality judging method includes the following steps. Firstly, a comparing object including a target area is provided. A reference image pickup device is provided to shoot the comparing object to obtain a standard image including a standard target area image. Then, a first pixel number contained in the standard target area image is counted. The comparing object is shot by a test image pickup device to obtain a test image including a test target area image, wherein the test image has the same resolution as the standard image. Then, a second pixel number contained in the test target area image is counted. The first pixel number contained in the standard target area image is compared with the second pixel number contained in the test target area image. According to the comparing results, it is discriminated whether the test image pickup device performs an accurate focusing operation.
