  • Publication number: 20090121816
Abstract: Regarding a switch used for various controls of a motor vehicle in particular and a switch device using the switch, it becomes possible to simplify the configuration and to perform reliable detection of trouble. A first detector is disposed on a surface opposing to a magnet fitted to an actuator, and a second detector is disposed thereunder. A controller detects magnetism of the magnet by using the first detector and the second detector. In case one of the detectors is out of order, it can also be detected from ON/OFF signal from the first detector and the second detector.

  • Publication number: 20090089077
Abstract: An IC tag is fixed to a printing plate. An ID code is stored in the IC tag. A used printing plate is collected using a collection container. The collection container is provided with a reception device of the collected used printing plates. The reception device is provided with an IC tag reader. An ID code of the used printing plate is read with the IC tag reader. According to the read ID code, whether to reuse the used printing plate for a substrate of the printing plate is judged. The used printing plates judged to be reused are sent to an aluminum substrate recycling plant and recycled as raw materials for aluminum used in production of the substrates for the printing plates.

  • Patent number: 4674344
Abstract: An engine starter has a plunger electromagnetically actuated by holding and attracting coils to move a pinion toward a ring gear on the engine and also to move a first movable contact on the plunger towards first and second stationary contacts to be electrically connected together by the first movable contact to electrically energize a starter motor. A relay is provided and has normally open contacts electrically connected in series to a power source and the connection between the holding and attracting coils. The relay coil is connected in series to a starter switch and a temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is formed by a normally closed switch having a third stationary contact connected to the relay coil, and a bimetallic element carrying a second movable contact grounded through the bimetallic element.

  • Patent number: 4419643
Abstract: A self-sustaining solenoid which is adapted so that when applying an operating current to a coil, a moving iron core disposed in the coil is attracted into contact with a fixed receiver. A magnetic yoke is provided to extend between the fixed receiver and the end portion of the moving iron core projecting out of the coil, and a permanent magnet is disposed on the magnetic yoke at least at one end in the direction of movement of the moving iron core. When the moving iron core is held in contact with the fixed receiver, magnetic fluxes emanating from the permanent magnet mostly pass through the moving iron core, the fixed receiver and the magnetic yoke, and even if the operating current is cut off, the moving iron core is retained in contact with the fixed receiver.
