  • Publication number: 20220369493
Abstract: An immersion cooling system includes an immersion tank that is configured to retain dielectric working fluid and to hold a plurality of computing devices submerged in the dielectric working fluid. The immersion cooling system also includes a condenser that is configured to cause condensation of vaporized working fluid. The immersion cooling system also includes a subcooling heat exchanger that is in fluid communication with a coolant source. The coolant source provides coolant having a coolant temperature that is lower than a boiling point of the dielectric working fluid. The subcooling heat exchanger is positioned so that heat transfer can occur between the dielectric working fluid and the subcooling heat exchanger. The immersion cooling system also includes a control system that controls how much of the coolant flows into the subcooling heat exchanger based at least in part on a temperature of the dielectric working fluid.

  • Publication number: 20220290543
Abstract: A system for fracturing multiple wellbores on a multi-well pad can include a missile that receives high-pressure fracturing fluid from a plurality of pump truck. The system can also include a main manifold that receives the high-pressure fracturing fluid from the missile, where the main manifold includes multiple valves and multiple output channels, where each of the valves are operated between an open position and a closed position. The system can further include multiple wellbores including a first wellbore, a second wellbore, and a third wellbore, where the wellbores are connected to the output channels of the main manifold. The valves of the main manifold can be operated to enable simultaneous flow of the high-pressure fracturing fluid to the first wellbore, the second wellbore, and the third wellbore so that the first wellbore, the second wellbore, and the third wellbore are fractured simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20220288454
Abstract: The exercise performance monitoring glove consists of a pair of flexible gloves that have embedded pressure sensor arrays to measure hand pressure applied to them during physical activities such as exercise. Each glove sends its pressure data in a real-time format using an embedded wireless RF transmitter to the opposite glove. The gloves then compare the pressures and provide feedback through a user selectable choice of either audio, visual or vibratory methods. Audio feedback is provided to earbuds using typical connection means such as Bluetooth connection to a smartphone or remote device having an exercise performance monitoring app. Visual feedback is provided in several possible modes such as text, color, and graphics using an embedded wraparound flexible display screen. Vibratory feedback is provided using embedded vibration devices inside the gloves.

  • Publication number: 20220264761
Abstract: The discussion relates to cooling computing devices and specifically to managing two-phase cooling. One example can include a two-phase liquid immersion tank containing heat generating components and a liquid phase of a coolant having a boiling point within an operating temperature range of the heat generating components. The example can also include a stratification chamber fluidly coupled to the liquid immersion tank and configured to at least partially separate a gas phase of the coolant from other gases. The example can further include a condenser chamber fluidly coupled to the stratification chamber and configured to receive the gas phase of the coolant and cause the gas phase of the coolant to phase change back into the liquid phase of the coolant.

  • Patent number: 11416786
Abstract: Improving the operations of a computer system that is located within a power grid and that is associated with its own power sources. Past operational characteristics of the power grid are analyzed to derive learned characteristics for the power grid. Future operational characteristics of the power grid are also monitored. A prediction regarding a future load event associated with the power grid is then generated using the learned characteristics and the monitored characteristics. In response to this prediction, one or more operations are performed to balance the computer system with the power grid during the future load event, and to ensure a determined availability of services associated with the computer system during the future load event.
