    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program are provided to utilize built-in self test (BIST) latches for multiple purposes. Conventionally, BIST latches are single purpose. Hence, separate latches are utilized for array built-in self test (ABIST) and logic built-in self test (LBIST) operations. By having the separate latches, though, a substantial amount area is lost. Therefore, to better utilize the latches and the area, ABIST latches are reconfigured to utilize some previously unused ports to allow for multiple uses for the latches, such as for LBIST.

The cover has concave portions on both ends of one longer side. The outer jacket member has cut portions that expose at least the concave portions of the cover. At least a longer side of the cover and the outer jacket member are heat-adhered.

    Abstract: An apparatus, a method and a computer program product are provided for conserving energy during functional mode of a processor by disabling the scan chain. By inserting logic gating into the scan chain it is possible to disable the scan chain during the processor's functional mode. During functional mode the scan out port of the latch bit in a scan chain toggles, which leads to unnecessary energy consumption. By gating scan control signals and the scan out port of a latch bit, the scan chain segment between latch bits can be disconnected. Therefore, the scan control signals can disable the scan chain during functional mode.

    Abstract: Provided is a carbon nanotube field effect transistor manufacturing method wherein carbon nanotube field effect transistors having excellent stable electric conduction property are manufactured with excellent reproducibility. After arranging carbon nanotubes to be a channel on a substrate, the carbon nanotubes are covered with an insulating protection film. Then, a source electrode and a drain electrode are formed on the insulating protection film. At this time, a contact hole is formed on the protection film, and the carbon nanotubes are connected with the source electrode and the drain electrode. Then, a wiring protection film, a conductive film and a plasma CVD film are sequentially formed on the insulating protection film, the source electrode and the drain electrode. In the field effect transistor thus manufactured, since the carbon nanotubes to be the channel are not contaminated and not damaged, excellent stable electric conductive property is exhibited.

The reaction field (20) is formed at a position on the silicon oxide film (12a), the position being different from a position for the channel (16). With this configuration, it is possible to independently select the shape of the channel (16) and the area of the reaction field (20). This enables the sensor (10) to have a high measurement sensitivity and a high degree of freedom of layout.

Relay device 40 divides the identified state code into portions of a predetermined data size and writes the divided portions into a predetermined area of the data blocks. Receiver device 10 transmits to transmitter device 20 an acknowledgement containing the same data as is written in a predetermined area of the received data block. Transmitter device 20, upon receipt of the acknowledgement, reads the state code that is divided and written in the acknowledgement and increases or reduces the number of data blocks on the basis of the state code.

The control unit calculates a ratio of the second value and the first value and then calculates the correction value based on the ratio.
