  • Publication number: 20200270266
Abstract: Novel tetrahydroisoquinoline derivative compounds are disclosed herein that may be used as an active ingredient for a pharmaceutical composition, and in particular, for a pharmaceutical composition useful for preventing or treating a disease or condition responsive to modulation of the contractility of the skeletal sarcomere. This may be accomplished, for example, by modulation of the troponin complex of the fast skeletal muscle sarcomere through one or more of fast skeletal myosin, actin, tropomyosin, troponin C, troponin I, and troponin T, and fragments and isoforms thereof. The tetrahydroisoquinoline derivative compounds can thus be used as an agent for preventing or treating 1) neuromuscular disorders, 2) disorders of voluntary muscle, 3) CNS disorders in which muscle weakness, atrophy, and fatigue are prominent symptoms, 4) muscle symptoms stemming from systemic disorders, and 5) dysfunctions of pelvic floor and urethral/anal sphincter muscle.

  • Publication number: 20200255531
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for modulating immune response based on binding I-domain of CD11b on the tumor associated myeloid cells (TAMCs) in the tumor microenvironment. Particularly, binding to I-domain of CD11b with anti-CD11b-I-domain antibody triggers immunostimulatory environment that have one or more of the following effects in the tumor microenvironment: increase the inflammatory cytokine in the tumor microenvironment, decrease the population of IDO+ myeloid suppresser cells, up-regulate M1 marker over M2 marker on the tumor associated macrophage, increase M1:M2 tumor associated macrophage ratio, promote differentiation of dendritic cells (DC), nature killer dendritic cells (NKDC), and plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDC), increase population of 4?1BB+PD?1+ neoantigen specific CD8 T cells. Converting cold (non-inflamed) to hot (inflamed) tumor by binding to I-domain of CD11b with anti-CD11b-I-domain antibody allows enhanced effectiveness of immune response modulator.

  • Publication number: 20200204373
Abstract: A network security system includes: a plurality of sub-nodes and an identity authentication device. The identity authentication device is configured to generate an initial dynamic subnet key, and group the sub-nodes into one or more subnets according to the initial dynamic subnet key and at least one preconfigured characteristic parameter. For each subnet of the one or more subnets, the identity authentication device respectively selects a virtual authenticator to manage each of the sub-nodes of each of the subnets. When a new member sub-node joins one subnet of the one or more subnets, each of the sub-nodes existed in the one subnet and the virtual authenticator of the one subnet each input a current version dynamic subnet key into a hash algorithm to update the current version dynamic subnet key for performing a consensus update process.

  • Publication number: 20200201306
Abstract: The system and method described allow for real-time control over positioning of a micro-object. A movement of at least one micro-object suspended in a medium can be induced by a generation of one or more forces by electrodes proximate to the micro-object. Prior to inducing the movement, a simulation is used to develop a model describing a parameter of an interaction between each of the electrodes and the micro-object. A function describing the forces generated by an electrode and an extent of the movement induced due to the forces is generated using the model. The function is used to design closed loop policy control scheme for moving the micro-object towards a desired position. The position of the micro-object is tracked and taken into account when generating control signals in the scheme.

  • Publication number: 20200176970
Abstract: A driving protection circuit is coupled to a load via an input/output pin. A signal generator circuit is configured to generate a driving signal. An input/output circuit transmits the driving signal to the input/output pin according to an enable signal. A counter circuit adjusts the count value when the enable signal is at a predetermined level. A detection circuit detects the voltage level of the input/output pin to generate a detection signal. When the count value is equal to a predetermined value, a control circuit determines whether the level of the detection signal is the same as the level of the driving signal. When the level of the detection signal is not the same as the level of the driving signal, the control circuit sends an error signal to turn off power to the load.

  • Patent number: 10649994
Abstract: A mechanism for rewriting a bounded query onto a view is disclosed. A query, access constraints, and cached view(s) are obtained. The cached view(s) contain results of the query as applied to a dataset stored in a database. A query rewriting plan is generated by adding a fetch from query operation to the plan when a rewritten query variable can be fetched from a query constant. A fetch from database operation is added to the plan when a rewritten query variable can be fetched as a query variable that obtains bounded data from the database. An access view operation is added to the plan when a rewritten query variable can be fetched from the cached view. The query rewriting plan is executed to fetch retrieved data. The query is executed on the retrieved data to determine updated results to the query without reapplying the query to the dataset.
