  • Publication number: 20190173780
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for a first DCN operating in a first datacenter as a logical network gateway that processes messages between other DCNs of the logical network and external entities, which address the logical network gateway using a first address. The first DCN has an interface with a second address for use in the first datacenter. The method stores a mapping between the second address and a third address. A second DCN operates the logical network gateway in a second datacenter and has an interface with the third address for use in the second datacenter. From the second DCN, the method receives connection state data, describing connections between the external entities and the DCNs of the logical network, that uses the third address. The method replaces the third address with the second address in the connection state data using the stored mapping and stores the connection state data.

  • Publication number: 20190014551
Abstract: A server has a processor and a memory connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to collect scan lists from client devices. Each scan list specifies a WiFi access point identifier collected by a client device and geographic coordinates of the client device when the WiFi access point identifier was collected. A cluster of geographic coordinates is formed around a designated WiFi access point. A centroid within the cluster is identified. The location of the centroid is ascribed as the geographic position of the designated WiFi access point. A client device is advised when the designated WiFi access point is a known mobile WiFi access point to facilitate connection between the client device and the known mobile WiFi access point.

  • Patent number: 10121084
Abstract: Disclosed subject matter relates generally to image processing that includes a method for detecting drowsiness state of a vehicle user independent of factors such ethnicities, gender and other differences of an individual. A drowsiness detection system receives current images of the vehicle user from an image capturing device in a current time frame. Further, an eye closure ratio of the vehicle user is determined in the current time frame using eye closure parameters extracted from the current images in real-time and a profile of the vehicle user. Further, the eye closure ratio is normalized using a scaling factor computed in real-time using normalizing parameters extracted from the current images in real-time and the profile. Finally, a Percentage Eye Closure (PEC) value of the vehicle user is determined in the current time frame using the normalized eye closure ratio of the vehicle to detect drowsiness state of the vehicle user.

  • Patent number: 9984053
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for replicating the appearance of typographical attributes and text adornments in digital publications. Content in a fixed layout format is converted into a standard digital publication format by applying a <span> tag to each word of the content. Each <span> tag includes a CSS letter spacing attribute that is calculated based on the effective width of each glyph forming the word in the fixed layout format, and the default width of the same glyph in the digital publication format. In this manner, the corresponding word is rendered in approximately the same space in both the fixed layout and digital publication formats.
