  • Publication number: 20240380403
Abstract: An adder with first and second majority gates. For a 1-bit adder, output from a 3-input majority gate is inverted and input two times to a 5-input majority gate. Other inputs to the 5-input majority gate are same as those of the 3-input majority gate. The output of the 5-input majority gate is a sum while the output of the 3-input majority gate is the carry. Multiple 1-bit adders are concatenated to form an N-bit adder. The input signals are driven to first terminals of non-ferroelectric capacitors while the second terminals are coupled to form a majority node. Majority function of the input signals occurs on this node. The majority node is then coupled to a first terminal of a non-linear polar capacitor. The second terminal of the capacitor provides the output of the logic gate. A reset mechanism initializes the non-linear polar capacitor before addition function is performed.

  • Publication number: 20240369901
Abstract: An integrated acousto-optic modulator operates with an extremely high extinction ratio (e.g.,>50 dB) thanks to two widely separated two-dimensional (2D) waveguides. These 2D waveguides are formed on or adjacent to a one-dimensional (ID) wave-guide far enough apart (e.g., 10-100 pm apart) to prevent evanescent coupling between them. An acoustic transducer formed on the surface of the ID waveguide switches light from one 2D waveguide to the other 2D waveguide via the ID waveguide. The acoustic wave emitted by the acoustic transducer forms a traveling grating that overlaps with one 2D waveguide. diffracting light from that 2D waveguide into the ID waveguide, which guides the light to the other 2D waveguide. A lateral grating coupler diffracts this light from the ID waveguide into a mode guided by the other 2D waveguide. This acoustic modulator acts as a switch suitable for use in quantum and atomic systems.

  • Publication number: 20240363122
Abstract: Techniques disclosed herein are directed towards streaming keyphrase detection which can be customized to detect one or more particular keyphrases, without requiring retraining of any model(s) for those particular keyphrase(s). Many implementations include processing audio data using a speaker separation model to generate separated audio data which isolates an utterance spoken by a human speaker from one or more additional sounds not spoken by the human speaker, and processing the separated audio data using a text independent speaker identification model to determine whether a verified and/or registered user spoke a spoken utterance captured in the audio data. Various implementations include processing the audio data and/or the separated audio data using an automatic speech recognition model to generate a text representation of the utterance.

  • Publication number: 20240362365
Abstract: A computer sets an access time for a set of files to an initial value. Upon accessing a file by a set of executables, the computer sets the access time of the file to a new value. The computer identifies, from the set of files, a subset of files accessed by the set of executables based on the access time of files in the subset being different from the initial value. The computer provides an output representing the subset of files.

  • Patent number: 12132588
Abstract: In an example, a network switch is to receive a loop detect packet from an access netwssork connected to a Data center network (DCN). The DCN includes a VXLAN overlay and the network switch is configured as a VTEP. The network switch compares the VNI of a source VTEP from which the loop detect packet originates with a locally configured VNI. In response to a match, it is determined that the network switch is configured as a peer VTEP. Import RT in the loop detect packet is compared with an export RT of the peer VTEP and the export RT in the loop detect packet is compared with an import RT of the peer VTEP. Based on the comparison, it is determined whether a VXLAN tunnel is configured between the peer and the source VTEPs. In response to the VXLAN tunnel being configured, the switch may determine that a network loop is present.

  • Patent number: 12131575
Abstract: A biometric identification system acquires a multimodal image. The system is trained to determine three embeddings: a first embedding associated with features present in a first modality, an intersection embedding associated with features present in both the first and a second modality, and an XOR embedding associated with features that are not shared between the first modality and the second modality. Once trained, the system may process a multimodal query image to determine query embedding data. Additional information, such as minutiae depicted in the multimodal query image may also be determined. The query embedding data, and in some implementations the additional information, may be compared with enrolled embedding data associated with a previously enrolled user. If the comparison exceeds a threshold value, an identity may be asserted.

  • Patent number: 12126339
Abstract: A new class of logic gates are presented that use non-linear polar material. The logic gates include multi-input majority gates and threshold gates. Input signals in the form of analog, digital, or combination of them are driven to first terminals of non-ferroelectric capacitors. The second terminals of the non-ferroelectric capacitors are coupled to form a majority node. Majority function of the input signals occurs on this node. The majority node is then coupled to a first terminal of a capacitor comprising non-linear polar material. The second terminal of the capacitor provides the output of the logic gate, which can be driven by any suitable logic gate such as a buffer, inverter, NAND gate, NOR gate, etc. Any suitable logic or analog circuit can drive the output and inputs of the majority logic gate. As such, the majority gate of various embodiments can be combined with existing transistor technologies.
