  • Publication number: 20100095811
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for installing fasteners are disclosed involving a fastener installation tool and a socket assembly. The fastener installation tool comprises a tool component and a gear head. The gear head comprises a lever, a retaining slide, a retaining slide housing, and at least one gear. The socket assembly comprises a socket, a hex key, and a hex key retainer. An end of the drive shaft of the socket has an annular groove around the circumference of the exterior surface of the drive shaft. When the retaining slide is slid into a locked position, the retaining slide engages the annular groove of the drive shaft of the socket, thereby attaching the drive shaft of the socket to the gear head of the fastener installation tool. A socket gear of the gear head matingly engages the drive shaft of the socket to rotate the socket.

  • Patent number: 7620203
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for analyzing an imaging system or an image produced by the imaging system are disclosed. The imaging system is configured to sense a target on a background and the target, background, and imaging system are associated with spatial information and spectral information. The imaging system or image is analyzed by, first, determining two of a spatial confidence level associated with the spatial information, a spectral confidence level associated with the spectral information, and a total confidence level associated with sensing the target on the background. A non-determined one of the spatial confidence level, the spectral confidence level, and the total confidence level is then calculated responsive to the determined confidence levels for use in analyzing the imaging system or image.

  • Publication number: 20090272449
Abstract: A bathing apparatus includes an in-line mixing unit and a hand operated injecting unit. The mixing unit is coupled between a water supply pipe and a water dispensing device, such as a showerhead and is in fluid communication with the hand operated injection unit. The injection unit, upon user demand, draws a controllable predetermined quantity of bathing fluid from a standard off the shelf purchased bottle of bathing fluid, such as a bottle of bath oil, and then ejects, upon user demand and in a hands free operation, the drawn bathing fluid, at a user selected flow rate. The ejected bathing fluid passes to the mixing unit which causes the ejected bathing fluid to be mixed within a stream of water being delivered to the water dispensing device.

  • Patent number: 7340717
Abstract: A method for generating a software model of a dynamic system takes as input a preliminary software model of the system. Normally, the preliminary software model is based on a system model that is generated by a system designer within a modeling environment. Generally speaking, the preliminary software model does not allow access to the internal variables of the system model from outside the modeling environment, but nonetheless may be executed on a computer platform in the absence of the modeling environment. Interface software is then produced which exposes the internal variables of the system model. The resulting software model, built from both the preliminary software model and the interface software, allows programmatic access to its internal variables, and potentially allows execution control, from outside the modeling environment, thus typically enhancing detailed simulation of the system model beyond the capabilities provided by the modeling environment.

  • Publication number: 20070259617
Abstract: An improved air diffuser is provided, including a housing having a bottom and an upwardly extending side wall with air slots to receive air. The housing supports a grille, and a flow regulator fits within the housing. The diffuser is configured to be secured to a floor by a mounting assembly, including a trim ring and a plurality of retaining mechanisms. The trim ring defines a flange and brackets for receiving the retaining mechanisms. Each retaining mechanism defines an L-shaped mount having horizontal and vertical legs. A cantilevered latch extends from a back of the vertical leg so that, when the vertical leg is inserted into one of the brackets, the latch secures the retaining mechanism to the bracket. The horizontal leg and the flange of the trim ring define a space therebetween for engaging a floor and thereby securing the housing to the floor.
