  • Patent number: 9560515
Abstract: A synch server comprises a first interface configured to transmit and receive MAP messages, and communicate with a Home Location Register (HLR) in a Circuit-Switched (CS) network, a second interface configured to communicate with a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) in an IP-Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network, and a third interface configured to transmit and receive Extensible Markup Language (XML) Configuration Access Protocol (XCAP) messages. A synch function module is configured to receive a message containing a change to a supplementary service setting associated with a User Equipment (UE) connected to a Circuit-Switched (CS) network or an IMS network, and communicate the change to the supplementary service setting to both the HLR and the HSS so that the supplementary service settings in both the HLR and the HSS are updated to reflect the change to the supplementary service setting.

  • Patent number: 9545785
Abstract: A printing form precursor comprises a printing surface which comprises an inorganic metal compound, the printing surface being hydrophobic and capable of being made hydrophilic by energy but capable of becoming hydrophobic again, for reuse, if desired. An associated method of printing includes steps of subjecting the printing surface imagewise to energy so as to locally increase its hydrophilicity sufficient to make the surface differentiated in its acceptance of an oleophilic a printing ink; applying the ink to the printing surface and printing from the printing surface; causing or allowing the printing surface to undergo a reduction in hydrophilicity sufficient again to make the printing surface uniform in its acceptance of a printing ink; and, if wished, repeating these steps on multiple occasions. Thus the invention achieves the goal of providing a printing form precursor which does not need a chemical developer, and which can be used multiple times, to print different images.

  • Patent number: 9478272
Abstract: An integrated circuit may have configurable storage blocks. A configurable storage block may include a memory array and a control circuit. The configurable storage block may receive a mode selection command. The control circuit may determine to operate the configurable storage block in a first mode which may provide random access to the memory array or in a second mode which may provide access to the memory array in a predefined order based on the mode selection command. Thus, the configurable storage block may implement first-in first-cut modules or last-in first-out modules and variations thereof in addition to implementing memory modules with random access.

  • Patent number: 9233466
Abstract: Modular components form a robotic assembly. the mod-components include modules and tools, each have a set of functions and capabilities, are rapidly configured-reconfigured to function cooperatively, creating a configurable robotic assemblage. Each mod-component incorporates a standardized connector mating with any other standardized connector in an interchangeable manner providing mechanical stability, power, and signals therebetween. Each mod-component incorporates a processor, data storage for mod-component identity, status, and programmable functionality, and for responding to commands. Storage is reprogrammed while the robot is operational, altering both commands and responses. After interconnection, inter-module power and communication are established and each modular component identifies itself and its functionality, thereby providing “plug and play” configuration.

  • Patent number: 9218862
Abstract: An integrated circuit may have circuitry that includes a storage circuit, a processing circuit, and at least one state register to implement a finite-state machine. The storage circuit may store base addresses and output data for each state of the finite-state machine. The storage circuit may further store offset values that are based on the input data to the finite-state machine and the state transition from a current state to a next state caused by the input data. The processing circuit may compute the address of the storage circuit location where the output data of the next state is stored. The computation of this address may depend on the offset value and base address of the current state. The state register may receive the address from the processing circuit, store the address, and perform the corresponding memory access operation on the storage circuit.

  • Patent number: 9106229
Abstract: A multichip package that includes a programmable interposer is provided. Multiple integrated circuits may be mounted on the interposer. Active circuitry may also be embedded in the interposer device to facilitate protocol-based communications, debugging, and other desired circuit operations. The interposer device may include programmable interconnect routing circuitry that serves primarily to provide routing for the different circuits within the multichip package. A design tool may be used to design the interposer device. The design tool may include a standard die footprint library from which standard interface templates can be selected when designing an interposer device that has to communicate various on-interposer integrated circuits. The use of standard die footprints may simplify the design of interposers by enabling a family of devices to interface with a given interposer.
