  • Publication number: 20230196331
Abstract: Arrangements for intelligent routing of transactions via a transaction adapter are provided. In some aspects, a request for a system selected mobile transaction adapter may be received from a user computing device in a current geographic location. Responsive to receiving the request, a computing platform may generate a plurality of requests for external entity data. The computing platform may receive entity data from the one or more external entities. In some examples, the entity data from the one or more external entities may be analyzed using machine learning. For instance, one or more machine learning models may be executed to identify, based on the data, an optimal or preferred service provider and/or mobile transaction adapter associated with the identified service provider. The identified mobile transaction adapter may then be transmitted to the user computing device for installation.

  • Publication number: 20230196330
Abstract: Arrangements for transaction adapter control are provided. In some aspects, a user device may connect to a network in a current geographic location. The user computing device may detect that a change in geographic location has occurred based on the current geographic location. Responsive to detecting that the change in geographic location has occurred, a mobile transaction adapter associated with or unique to the current geographic location may be downloaded to the user computing device. The mobile transaction adapter may be a plug-in component to a mobile payment application on the user computing device. A request to process a transaction may be received via the mobile payment application on the user device. Upon receiving the request to process the transaction, the mobile transaction adapter may be activated and the request may be routed to the mobile transaction adapter. The requested transaction may then be processed via the mobile transaction adapter.

  • Patent number: 11675515
Abstract: An intelligent data partitioning engine processes instructions to monitor an input queue of a cluster computing framework processing on a distributed computing system. The intelligent data partitioning engine calculates data requirements for processing of one or more program files in the input queue and determines, based on a block size and available processing resources of a plurality of nodes of the distributed computing system, a number of data partitions. Based on the data partitions, the intelligent data partitioning engine triggers execution of the one or more program files by the cluster computing framework, where the cluster computing framework is configured based on the block size and the number of data partitions and updates the data requirements for processing of the one or more program files based on feedback from the cluster computing framework corresponding to one or more previous processing runs of the one or more program files.

  • Patent number: 11671488
Abstract: Domain-based server-selection computer-implemented processes and machines implement an extension of RAFT consensus for leader selection based on patterns of update data proximity. Accounts involved in payment or other transactions are maintained as “sharded” data across data store instances that are split into shards according to their temporal activity. If the domain attributes for a node exceed a threshold and are greater than the other nodes, the node is designated as a leader node and the others are designated as follower nodes. This provides an additional optimization in network performance by introducing insights in normal operations within a domain in a distributed network. If the domain attributes do not exceed the threshold and/or are not greater than the other nodes, a traditional consensus algorithm is used to select leader and follower nodes.

  • Patent number: 11662928
Abstract: Systems and methods for efficient and secure management of encrypted “snapshots” for a remote provider substrate extension (“PSE”) of a cloud provider network substrate are provided. The PSE may request and obtain a snapshot from the cloud provider network substrate, restore a volume from the snapshot, make changes to data in the restored volume, and/or initiate the creation and storage of a new snapshot that includes incremental updates to the original snapshot to reflect the changes made to data in the volume. An encrypted snapshot stored within the cloud provider network substrate may be decrypted using a cloud provider key designed for internal use only, and then re-encrypted using a PSE-specific key before providing the snapshot to the PSE, thereby avoiding the sharing of the cloud provider internal use only key outside the cloud provider network substrate.

  • Publication number: 20230147896
Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for large scale vehicle data collaborative analysis. According to one embodiment, a large amount of data streams is received from a multitude of vehicles. A distributed event streaming system is applied to parse the data streams based on an attribute, such as time sensitive data, location-specific data, or vehicle maintenance, operational, or fault-prevention data. A data container platform instance hosts applications that receive the parsed data streams. Output of an application is transformed into data streams having a common topic. Other applications may access the data streams by topic. Upon receiving an indication that an application has processed a data stream by topic, a decision point may be reached and executed by an external application, triggering an action on a vehicle from the multitude of vehicles. A vehicle computing system accesses topic data streams and performs an action on the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11640484
Abstract: Multi-envelope encryption provides redundancy for highly-available storage of encrypted data. Data, such as a “snapshot” representing values of every block of a block storage volume or device at a specific point in time, may be encrypted before storage to prevent unauthorized access to the data. To further protect the data and prevent unauthorized access to the data, additional security measures may be taken. Multiple copies of the data key that is to be used to decrypt the data may be encrypted and stored separately from the encrypted data as envelopes. The different envelopes may each be encrypted using envelope keys. If one envelope key is later lost or otherwise becomes unavailable, the encrypted data can still be accessed by using a different envelope key to recover the data key and decrypt the data.
