  • Publication number: 20230019641
Abstract: A method includes acquiring a design layout of a standard cell, extracting feature information of one or more vias in the standard cell from the design layout, performing a circuit simulation to obtain first simulation outputs of the standard cell for input patterns by applying a first abnormal resistance value as a parasitic resistance value of a first via among the one or more vias, the first abnormal resistance value being different from a nominal parasitic resistance value of the first via, determining whether the first simulation outputs match corresponding expected outputs of the standard cell for the input patterns, and in response to one or more simulation outputs among the first simulation outputs not matching the corresponding expected outputs, recording one or more defect types for the first via having the first abnormal resistance value along with corresponding input patterns and corresponding simulation outputs.

  • Publication number: 20230018284
Abstract: Techniques for generating a crash-consistent clone of file(s) stored by a distributed file system are described herein. To generate the crash-consistent clone, a coordinator node may identify multiple nodes (e.g., at least a first node and a second node) of the distributed file system that are storing different portions of data of the file. The coordinator node may then send a first command to the multiple nodes to cause each of the multiple nodes to quiesce the file and clone the different portions of the data to generate the crash-consistent clone of the file. The coordinator node may then receive, from the multiple nodes, a status associated with generating the crash-consistent clone of the file. Based at least in part on the status, the coordinator node may send a second command to the multiple nodes to cause each of the multiple nodes to unquiesce the file.

  • Patent number: 11556659
Abstract: Generally described, one or more aspects of the present application correspond to techniques for managing snapshots in a partially encrypted state and providing access to partially encrypted snapshots. These snapshot management techniques allow a snapshot that is being encrypted to be accessed prior to the encryption being completed. Such a snapshot may have some blocks that have been encrypted, and other blocks that have not yet been encrypted. In order to provide access to such a snapshot in a partially encrypted state, a system may allow the encryption status of the blocks in the snapshot to be checked at the block level instead of at the snapshot level (or at some other intermediary level therebetween), according to some embodiments. By doing so, the system can reduce the delays resulting from snapshots that are locked during the encryption process.

  • Publication number: 20230009897
Abstract: Some embodiments may facilitate software development and operations for an enterprise. A communication input port may receive information associated with a software continuous integration/deployment pipeline of the enterprise. An intelligent software agent platform, coupled to the communication input port, may listen for a trigger indication from the software continuous integration/deployment pipeline. Responsive to the trigger indication, the intelligent software agent platform may apply system configuration information and rule layer information to extract software log data and apply a machine learning model to the extracted software log data to generate a pipeline health check analysis report. The pipeline health check analysis report may include, for example, an automatically generated prediction associated with future operation of the software continuous integration/deployment pipeline.

  • Publication number: 20230012424
Abstract: A queue management ultra-wideband (UWB) automated teller machine (ATM) transaction pre-staging systems and methods for use with an ATM server, at least one UWB-enabled wireless portable electronic device, and a plurality of UWB-enabled ATMs are disclosed. Transactions are pre-staged by the UWB-enabled devices with the ATM servers. Queue wait times at each UWB-enabled ATM can be determined based on how many transactions have been scheduled for the ATM, how many customers are currently waiting at the ATM, and what currency resources are required by the pre-staged transactions. Geographical distances between the user and the ATMs can be determined. Based on historical customer ATM usage preferences, the distance to various ATMs, and queue wait times, the ATM server may make recommendations regarding which ATM would be optimal for the customer to use to complete the pre-staged transaction.

  • Patent number: 11544156
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for conducting incremental restore operations on block storage volumes using an object-based snapshot. A full restore from an object-based snapshot can include copying all blocks of a data set from the object-based snapshot to a destination volume. For high capacity volumes, full restores may take large amounts of time. Moreover, full restores may be inefficient where a destination volume already contains some data of the snapshot. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for incremental restore operations, where a delta data set is transferred from the snapshot to the destination volume, representing data in the snapshot is not known to already exist on the volume or another available volume.

  • Patent number: 11537431
Abstract: A system implements task contention reduction via policy-based selection. Tasks waiting to be performed are indexed in a task data structure that groups the tasks based on the resources to which the tasks pertain. Workers request batches of tasks for the workers to perform. A scan cycle includes building multiple batches of tasks by scanning the task data structure for a requesting worker. A policy (e.g., random or some other form of optimization) determines where the scan cycle starts in the data structure. Each batch of tasks is delivered to a worker along with a token that keeps the state of the scan cycle (e.g., where the scan cycle started, and where the next scan to build the next batch within the scan cycle begins). The worker returns the token with the next request for the next batch and the next batch is built based on the token's state information.

  • Publication number: 20220406303
Abstract: Arrangements for voice enabled event processing are provided. In some aspects, a self-service kiosk may detect a mobile device of a user and a connection may be established between the self-service kiosk and the mobile device. The user may request, via natural language data input, processing of an event, such as a transaction. The natural language data input may be captured by the mobile device of the user and transmitted to the self-service kiosk or other processing device. The natural language input may be processed to identify the requested event. Based on the processed natural language data, an event processing request may be generated. • Publication number: 20220407927
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for triggering cross channel data caching on network nodes. Historical event data and live event data of a user may be monitored to determine an expected event that includes one or more expected channels. An expected period of time for the expected event may also be determined. Relevant user data may then be identified from one or more systems of record and cached or otherwise compressed. One or more nodes of a network associated with each of the one or more expected channels are then identified. The cached data is then transmitted to virtual data structures associated with each of the one or more nodes. The cached data is then generally maintained in these virtual data structures on the network for the expected period of time.
