  • Publication number: 20230143923
Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for large scale vehicle data collaborative analysis. According to one embodiment, a large amount of data streams is received from a multitude of vehicles. A distributed event streaming system is applied to parse the data streams based on an attribute, such as time sensitive data, location-specific data, or vehicle maintenance, operational, or fault-prevention data. A data container platform instance hosts applications that receive the parsed data streams. Output of an application is transformed into data streams having a common topic. Other applications may access the data streams by topic. Upon receiving an indication that an application has processed a data stream by topic, a decision point may be reached and executed by an external application, triggering an action on a vehicle from the multitude of vehicles.

  • Patent number: 11640484
Abstract: Multi-envelope encryption provides redundancy for highly-available storage of encrypted data. Data, such as a “snapshot” representing values of every block of a block storage volume or device at a specific point in time, may be encrypted before storage to prevent unauthorized access to the data. To further protect the data and prevent unauthorized access to the data, additional security measures may be taken. Multiple copies of the data key that is to be used to decrypt the data may be encrypted and stored separately from the encrypted data as envelopes. The different envelopes may each be encrypted using envelope keys. If one envelope key is later lost or otherwise becomes unavailable, the encrypted data can still be accessed by using a different envelope key to recover the data key and decrypt the data.

  • Publication number: 20230131232
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to verifying external accounts in real-time using dynamic smart contracts. A computing platform may receive a consumer request to initiate a transaction, at an enterprise organization, with an entity associated with an account. The computing platform may use the received consumer request to generate a smart contract profile associated with the entity. The computing platform may use the smart contract profile associated with the entity to determine a trust score associated with the entity. The computing platform may gather data indicating external accounts associated with the entity. The computing platform may use the data indicating the external accounts associated with the entity to determine a confidence threshold value. The computing platform may compare the trust score associated with the entity to the confidence threshold value to verify the legitimacy of the account associated with the entity.

  • Patent number: 11622010
Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses may provide virtualization of device management services (e.g., device drivers) dedicated managing a particular device and designed under for or under the assumption the particular device and the device management service will be utilized in a single session/user environment, so that virtual instances of the device management services may be used in a multi-session environment. Further, a redirection and/or virtualization layer may be created for each session in the multi-session environment to perform global database redirection, object name translation, and file system translation to ensure session boundaries are maintained and global/shared resources are not inappropriately altered by a session. As an example, the redirection/virtualization layer may redirect communications associated with a session and for a global resource to access a virtual instance of the resource specific to the session.

  • Patent number: 11616725
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for efficient handling of user requests to access shared resources in a distributed system, which handling may include throttling access to resources on a per-resource basis. A distributed load-balancing system can be logically represented as a hierarchical token bucket cache, where a global cache contains token buckets corresponding to individual resources whose tokens can be dispensed to service hosts each maintaining a local cache with token buckets that limit the servicing of requests to access those resources. Local and global caches can be implemented with a variant of a lazy token bucket algorithm to enable limiting the amount of communication required to manage cache state. High granularity of resource management can thus enable increased throttle limits on user accounts without risking overutilization of individual resources.

  • Publication number: 20230091338
Abstract: Compositions and methods are provided for an inducible, high efficiency intra-genomic homologous recombination (IGHR) system in plants, that can be used for non-chimeric, heritable gene targeting. The advantage of IGHR approach to targeted integration is that every cell contains donor DNA and nuclease-encoding sequences, so that there are many potentially homology-directed targeting events that can occur during plant development.
