Abstract: A method and system for providing desired media when a Push-To-Talk (PTT) over Cellular (PoC) User Equipment (UE) retrieves media information stored in a PoC box and requests a desired media transmission in a PoC system. In the PoC system, the PoC UE sends, to the PoC box, a request for media information stored in the PoC box to receive media stored in the PoC box. When receiving the media information request, the PoC box sends the stored media information to the PoC UE. The PoC UE selects desired media using the received media information and requests a PoC box media transmission. The PoC box sends the requested media to the PoC UE.

Abstract: A method, user equipment and system provide simultaneous Push-To-Talk (PTT) over Cellular (PoC) multimedia services. After a PoC client participates in multiple sessions according to a simultaneous PoC multimedia service or Enhanced Simultaneous Session Support (ESS) set by a user for a PoC multimedia call service, a PoC server can simultaneously transmit the media streams to the PoC client without filtering when media streams of the same media type are transmitted in different sessions. The client can set simultaneous multi-reception modes on a session-by-session basis according to a user's intention, and on a media type-by-media type basis in each session.

Abstract: Disclosed is a terminal apparatus and a method for providing media transmission time information in a Push-to-talk over Cellular (PoC) system. The method includes receiving a media burst granted message in response to a media burst request message, and confirming media transmission time information in the received media burst granted message, and informing a user of the confirmed media transmission time information. By the method, it is possible to recognize media transmission time information included in a floor granted message transmitted from a PoC server and informing a user of the media transmission time information.

Abstract: A method allows an individual PoC client and a PoC client belonging to a specific PoC group to participate in a session as extended targets while a PoC group talk is proceeding. When the PoC client that is participating in the ad-hoc group talk intends to make the ad-hoc PoC group session ongoing by adding both a plurality of individuals and members of at least one PoC group to the existing session as preliminary talkers, the list information is obtained by identifying the group URI at the PoC server. By using SIP or Extended SIP and XCAP in this process, the PoC user that is participating in the group talk transmits the single SIP message through an ongoing session, and invites a specific PoC group and a plurality of PoC users who are designated voluntarily to the ongoing PoC group talk. Thereby, the PoC user can perform the PoC call.

Abstract: A system and method including registering state information capable of being published by an Event Publication Agent (EPA) using a Media Feature Tag according to Session Initiation Protocol (SIP); sending a Publication Rule for target state information from a Ruler to an associated EPA; routing the Publication Rule to the EPA; receiving, by the EPA, the Publication Rule; performing publication to an Event State Compositer (ESC) according to the Publication Rule; requesting to update or cancel the Publication Rule; receiving the request from the Ruler and modifying the Publication Rule accordingly; performing publication from the EPA to the ESC according to the modified Publication Rule; sending a Publication Rule synchronization request from the Ruler to the EPA using an event package; sending a response message to the Publication Rule synchronization request from the EPA; and sending notification of further updates of the Publication Rule from the EPA.

Abstract: A method, a terminal, and a system for establishing a Push to Talk Over Cellular (PoC) group session in a PoC network based on session initiation information, such as information regarding presence of clients to be invited or session start-up time. According to the method, Universal Resource Indicator (URI) information regarding invitation and Information Reservation Service (IRS) parameters are set up in a PoC extensible markup language Document Management Server (XDMS), and a PoC server is requested to provide an IRS so that a session is established.

Abstract: Provided is a multimedia messaging automatic reply service method and system. The method includes in a multimedia messaging service relay/server, storing and setting an automatic reply message in response to a request for setting the automatic reply message from a predetermined mobile communication terminal; and in the multimedia messaging service relay/server, upon reception of a multimedia message to be transmitted to the predetermined mobile communication terminal, comparing transmission conditions each set to at least one or more automatic reply message, which is set in response to the request of the predetermined mobile communication terminal, with a sender and a priority of the received multimedia message, and selecting and transmitting one automatic reply message to the multimedia message sender.

Abstract: A method, user equipment, and system are provided which can open an ad-hoc Push-To-Talk (PTT) over Cellular (PoC) session for a call target group whose group identifier is managed in a remote network domain when the ad-hoc PoC session is opened. A PoC client requesting session initiation sends, to a first PoC server of a home network, a session INVITE message containing information of at least one group identifier. The first PoC server checks the group identifier information and sends a group list information request message to a second PoC server hosting a group identifier when identifier information of a network group other than the home network is included. The second PoC server acquires list information about a group in the request message and sends the information to the first PoC server.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method, a User Equipment (UE) and a system for providing a simultaneous multiple session Push-to-talk over Cellular (PoC) multimedia service. A PoC client performing a PoC multimedia communication service participates in multiple sessions according to the setup of a user, and can simultaneously receive the same media streams without filtering in a PoC server when the same media streams are transmitted. Further, the PoC client can set a session, to which filtering is to be applied, from among a plurality of sessions and media types.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and a system for a Push-To-Talk (PTT) over Cellular (PoC) session open between PoC clients supporting various types of media. Although a PoC client providing an Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) PoC multimedia communication service supports a plurality of uncommon types of media, it is possible to open a session according to media types in an independent and easier manner. Also, when a new media type is supported by a new participant during a session, it is possible to add the new media type when granting the next floor. In addition, it is possible to selectively transmit media according to media types based on the PoC user's choice.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a system in which a client intending to participate in a chat Push-to-talk over Cellular (PoC) group, presents a session participation-invitation reservation to a server when the number limit has been exceeded pursuant to the policy of the chat PoC group, or when a chat PoC group ID exists but a corresponding session has not been initiated. Herein, when a client intending to participate in a chat PoC group receives a response indicating participation is not possible because the number limit of the chat PoC group has been exceeded, the client performs invitation reservation until participation is possible.

Abstract: A system and method provide simultaneous multiple push-to-talk (PTT) over cellular (PoC) multimedia service, and enable a PoC client performing an OMA PoC multimedia communication service to be simultaneously provided with a plurality of media streams, and also allows efficient media transmission through media adaptation adjusting capacity of each of the media streams provided at the same time.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for managing XDM (XML Document Management) service information to improve management efficiency for OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) service information. The apparatus includes a controller for creating a shared User Resource Identifier (URI), and using a value created by the controller as a static value to be used as a newly-created reference handle for shared service information referred to by service information. The newly-created value is set as an unchanged value (i.e., it remains static until a corresponding element vanishes), thereby preventing signaling overhead, compatibility degradation, and resource waste due to modification of the shared service information.

Abstract: A system and method for re-invitation to a PoC group session are provided. Processes of determining non-participating group members when the group session is initiated, obtaining information about the non-participating group members, and re-inviting the non-participating group members to a corresponding ongoing group session, are performed for all non-participating group members at one time.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method of directly setting priority information for maintaining synchronization between a mobile e-mail server and a plurality of client stations. The system includes: at least one client station for transmitting client station information containing priority information and transmitting event information; and a server for receiving the client station information transmitted from the client station, confirming the priority information, changing a priority setting of the client station if the confirmed priority is higher than a stored priority; and reflecting the event information according to the priority.

Abstract: A method and system collect opinions of PoC clients in a PoC network, and provide a PoC system with an opinion voting function capable of collecting the opinions and performing an opinion voting procedure regardless of whether a floor is used when a user collects the opinion. The method includes transmitting a message including a request to use a voting function and content to be voted from an arbitrary user in a group to a session management server, determining whether the voting function is occupied by another user in the group, transmitting the content to be voted to the other users in the group when the voting function is not occupied by another user, and transmitting a response of the content to be voted.

Abstract: A method establishes a PoC multimedia session for making a PoC multimedia call according to a support attribute of a PoC terminal and sets media for each session. In the method, a message for setting a session management server to split arbitrary PoC user terminals according to an attribute of media to establish the session is transmitted from the arbitrary PoC user terminals to the session management server. An INVITE message according to the media attribute is transmitted from the session management server to each of the terminals based on the setting.

Abstract: A method is provided to establish an ad-hoc PoC group session by causing a PoC client with a pre-established session to use an existing session as a conference server for a group PoC call and by including many individuals and members of at least one PoC group among talk targets. In the method, a session invitation proxy message, which includes session dialog information, entry uniform resource identifiers (URIs), and a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message method, is transmitted to an originating PoC server in a state in which the pre-established session is established. The originating PoC server transmits the message based on the SIP message method to a destination address included in the session invitation proxy message. Finally, the ad-hoc session is established between an originating PoC system and the destination address included in the session invitation proxy message.

Abstract: A method is disclosed which sets a PoC Box service and transmits information on a service identifier by using a standard SIP, a SDP, an XCAP, and a PAP, in order to remain compatible with conventional PoC technology when performing call processing of session connection using a PoC Box. Further, the method stores only pre-designated media in a PoC Box according to a type of media transmitted in consideration of features of a PoC multimedia session.
