  • Patent number: 10564688
Abstract: Various methods and systems for implementing resource management for an infrastructure are provided. Resource management includes datacenter byproduct management interfaces, datacenter power management, datacenter operations optimization and infrastructure resource management. Resource management facilitates using and distributing physical resources, including incidental physical resources that are generated during operation of an infrastructure, based on a minimum threshold reserve of the physical resource associated with the operating the infrastructure. Resource management can include controlling an amount of the physical resource that is generated and an amount the physical resource that is reserved. The minimum threshold reserve in combination with the control over generating and reserving the physical resource help identify an allocable amount of the physical resource. Physical resources of an infrastructure are quantified to support resource management.

  • Patent number: 10567328
Abstract: A social networking system allows a user to insert media information into content posted by the user, where the media information identifies a media item that the user is consuming while composing the posted content. When a user of a social networking system composes content via a composer interface, the user may select an option on the composer interface to record audio using a microphone on the user's device. A media item is identified from the recorded audio and information about the identified media item is added to the user's posted content. The system may also update information about the identified media item and the composing user.

  • Patent number: 10555147
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are concerned with facilitating service provision between software applications. In embodiments of the invention, a first user terminal includes an application which causes the first user terminal to delegate execution of a first service to a different application. In response to determining that the first service is to be executed on behalf of the first service, a request message is sent to a data store including an identifier of the first service. The data store comprising entries indicating applications held on one or more user terminals, and indicating one or more services that may be executed, on request, by a corresponding application. The first user terminal receives a response message from the data store identifying one or more applications to which execution of the first service may be delegated.

  • Publication number: 20200035009
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing pose space dimensionality. A plurality of example poses can define an input pose space. Each of the example poses can include a set of joint rotations for a virtual character. The joint rotations can be expressed with a singularity-free mathematical representation. The plurality of example poses can then be clustered into one or more clusters. A representative pose can be determined for each cluster. An output pose space with a reduced dimensionality, as compared to the input pose space, can then be provided.

  • Patent number: 10535329
Abstract: The present invention discloses a magnetically latched, spring assisted, built-in guitar stand that is built in to a guitar to provide quick standing of the guitar without the need for a separate guitar stand. The magnetically latched, spring assisted, built-in guitar stand consists of a stand arm that pivots away from the guitar when opened to form a tripod-like footprint that allows the guitar to stand by itself. The reduced footprint of the guitar stand allows the guitar to stand in a relatively small area.

  • Publication number: 20200004798
Abstract: Embodiments as disclosed provide improved RPA systems and methods that utilize a set of reusable modules. These modules may include an associated set of configurable parameters and be associated with instructions for a browser automation platform. An RPA application to accomplish a task at a target website is built using these modules. The RPA application may be executed at the RPA system using an instance of a browser. The RPA application can be executed by evaluating an identified module of the RPA application based on the configuration parameters to determine instructions for a browser automation platform for the identified module. These browser automation platform instructions can then be provided to the browser automation platform to execute against the browser instance.

  • Publication number: 20200005813
Abstract: There are disclosed devices, system and methods for desired signal spotting in noisy, flawed environments by identifying a signal to be spotted, identifying a target confidence level, and then passing a pool of cabined arrays through a comparator to detect the identified signal, wherein the cabined arrays are derived from respective distinct environments. The arrays may include plural converted samples, each converted sample include a product of a conversion of a respective original sample, the conversion including filtering noise and transforming the original sample from a first form to a second form. Detecting may include measuring a confidence of the presence of the identified signal in each of plural converted samples using correlation of the identified signal to bodies of known matching samples. If the confidence for a given converted sample satisfies the target confidence level, the given sample is flagged.
