    Abstract: The preparation method of the magnetic nanoparticle (MNP) includes steps of: (a) reacting folic acid (FA) with Pluronic F127 (PF127) to form FA-PF127; (b) reacting poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) with FeCl3 to form PAA-bound iron oxide (PAAIO); and (c) reacting FA-PF127 with PAAIO via N-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (EDAC) mediation to form FA-PF127-PAAIO. FA-PF127-PAAIO is nontoxic and shows the superparamagnetic property at room temperature. The Nile red-loaded FA-PF127-PAAIO can be performed as the chemotherapy agent and the contrast agent on magnetic resonance (MR) imaging.

    Abstract: A hue segmentation system and method thereof suitable for image devices are described. First, a plurality of hue segments are generated based on color data of a plurality of colors in a color gamut. Then, the area difference between the hue segments and the color gamut is calculated. If the area difference is greater than a predetermined value, the hue segmentation system searches at least one vertex among the hue segments to divide the segments for generating a plurality of additional hue segments. The above-mentioned steps are performed repeatedly until the area difference is less than the predetermined value. Thus fewer hue segments indicate the color gamut of color processing of the image devices to effectively decrease calculation times and save required memory.

A correction system according to the present invention includes an identification unit, a correction unit, and an adjustment module. The way of correction includes following steps: firstly the identification unit receives an image color data and identifies whether the image color data is a specific or a non-specific color data. Then the correction unit corrects the specific color data for display while the non-specific color data is adjusted by the adjustment module according to the color characteristics of the image output device. Therefore, the image data to be displayed is corrected and display quality of the image output device is improved.

    Abstract: An exhaust monitoring cup which measures exhaust gas flowing through a top opening in a coater cup of a spin coating apparatus used in the deposition of photoresist coatings on semiconductor wafers. The exhaust monitoring cup includes a gas flow cup which is positioned in fluid communication with the top opening of the coater cup. The exhaust gas flows through a gas flow opening in the gas flow cup, and a flow rate measuring apparatus at the gas flow opening receives the exhaust gas and measures the flow rate thereof. The flow rate of the gas leaving the gas flow cup can be compared to the flow rate of the gas flowing from an exhaust conduit leading from the bottom of the coater cup, to facilitate detection of abnormal conditions in the coater cup or exhaust conduit.
