  • Patent number: 4612561
Abstract: A parallel connected gate turn-off thyristor device including an additional short circuiting conductor connected between the gate terminals of the respective gate turn-off thyristors so as to bypass a part of the turn-on and turn-off gate currents of one gate turn-off thyristor to other gate turn-off thyristors to increase the turn-on and turn-off gate currents of the other gate turn-off thyristors thereby hastening the turn-on and turn-off operations of the other gate turn-off thyristors.

  • Patent number: 4509203
Abstract: An auto tuning/storing receiver includes a PLL frequency synthesizer for scanning of frequency. The receiver is provided with means storing field intensity signals characteristic of the intensities of broadcasts at the same time as tuning signals characteristics of tuning frequencies are stored. Once the storing means has been full of the tuning signals during the scanning of frequencies, comparison is effected in field intensity between a new broadcast and all of the already stored broadcasts whenever the field intensity of the new one exceeds the reference or the storing criterion. Should the field intensity of the new one be higher than the lowest field intensity of one of the already stored broadcasts, the new broadcast (both its related tuning signal and field intensity signal) replaces the most feeble of the previous broadcasts automatically.

  • Patent number: 4377345
Abstract: An alarm signaling circuit for a timepiece including a volume control circuit having a variable volume controller which can be externally adjusted and a fixed volume setting means which determines a constant volume, a change over switch which selectively changes the controller and the setting means, and a change over control circuit which has a time section for measuring an alarm signalling time and which supplies a change over control signal to the change over switch after a predetermined passage of time from the start of alarm signaling. The alarm signaling circuit performs the alarm signaling action at a certain volume established by the variable volume controller during a first alarm signaling period from a start of alarm signaling till the predetermined passage of time and further performs the alarm signaling action at a fixed alarm volume determined by the fixed volume setting means in a consecutive second alarm signaling period.

  • Patent number: 3969011
Abstract: An attachment assembly is provided, particularly for use in automobiles, wherein one of a pair of male and female connectors may be mounted in a desired position for engagement by the other connector. A nut mounted upon one said connector is adapted to be threadedly engaged by a bolt extending through a frame member. Resiliently deformable means are located on one side of the nut to prevent passage of the bolt through the nut in one direction from the side thereof upon which the deformable means are located thereby preventing improper positional mounting of the connector. When said one connector is properly located to have the bolt extend through the nut from the side thereof opposite the resiliently deformable means, the bolt, after passage through the nut, operates by further turning thereof to cause deformation of said resiliently deformable means to enable the proper, secure mounting of said connector upon said frame body.
