Patent number: 10603155Abstract: The present embodiments provide stent-grafts. In one embodiment, a stent has proximal and distal ends, a plurality of strut segments disposed between the proximal and distal ends that enable expansion of the stent from a compressed state to a deployed state, and a series of distal apices disposed at the distal end of the stent. At least a portion of a first distal apex overlaps with graft material. First and second sutures are each coupled between a portion of the first distal apex and the graft material. The first and second sutures are positioned at different longitudinal zones that lack an axial overlap with one another.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2017Date of Patent: March 31, 2020Assignee: COOK MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES LLCInventors: Michael P. Publication number: 20200096347Abstract: A network system uses Wi-Fi signals or other types of short-range transmissions to determine navigation to pickup locations for users receiving services provided via the network system. In an embodiment, the network system builds a database of reference signatures of short-range transmissions previously detected by client devices of users at a geographical region, where the reference signatures are mapped to corresponding locations of the geographical region. By comparing a signature detected by a particular user's client device to the reference signatures, the network system may check for similarities between the short-range transmissions. Responsive to finding a match, the network system determines a current location of the particular user at the geographical region. Accordingly, by leveraging the database, the network system may determine a route for travel by the particular user from the current location to a pickup location without having to use GPS signals.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 1, 2019Publication date: March 26, 2020Inventor: Siddharth Kar

Publication number: 20200099614Abstract: Described are aspects of a sharded monitoring system that collects metrics data from a plurality of targets within a monitored system. In various embodiments, the monitoring system includes multiple monitoring-server instances each collecting metrics data from a respective subset of the targets, as well as a federation server that collects aggregated metrics data from the other monitoring-server instances. Mappings between monitoring targets and monitoring-server instances collecting their metrics data may be stored in a temporal routing map, e.g., on the federation server, which may build the map, in accordance with some embodiments, based on time-series routing metrics received from the other monitoring-serve instances. The routing map may be used to direct queries for metrics data from a client to the appropriate monitoring-server instance. Further aspects and embodiments are disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 25, 2018Publication date: March 26, 2020Inventors: Viswa Vutharkar, Jun Li, Siddharth Mark Joseph

Patent number: 10602409Abstract: An access node can dynamically adjust a buffer allocation of a wireless device connected thereto, based on a packet loss or other signal degradation characteristic of a wireless link between the access node and the wireless device. The wireless device may be a relay node. The signal degradation may be indicated by a packet loss of data transmitted over the wireless link. Based on the detected signal degradation, the donor access node dynamically and in real-time adjusts a size of a buffer or sub-buffer allocated to the relay node. Threshold comparisons are used to determine when and by how much to adjust the buffer size. Operations are not limited to relay node buffers, and can be applied to buffers associated with standard wireless devices based upon signal characteristics thereof, an application requirement of the devices, or a historical trend of packets losses for the wireless links associated therewith.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2016Date of Patent: March 24, 2020Assignee: Sprint Spectrum L.P.Inventors: Siddharth Oroskar, Jasinder Singh, Nitesh Manchanda, Rajil Malhotra

Publication number: 20200090056Abstract: Business to Consumer (B2C) systems face a challenge of engaging users since offers are created using static rules generated using clustering on large transactional data generated over a period of time. Moreover, the offer creation and assignment engine is disjoint to the transactional system which led to significant gap between history used to create offers and current activity of users. Systems and methods of the present disclosure provide a meta-model based configurable auto-tunable recommendation model generated by ensembling optimized machine learning and deep learning models to predict a user's likelihood to take an offer and deployed in real time. Furthermore, the offer given to the user is based on a current context derived from the user's recent behavior that makes the offer relevant and increases probability of conversion of the offer to a sale. The system achieves low recommendation latency and scalable high throughput by virtue of the architecture used.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 22, 2019Publication date: March 19, 2020Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Rekha SINGHAL, Gautam SHROFF, Vartika TEWARI, Sanket KADARKAR, Siddharth VERMA, Sharod Roy CHOUDHURY, Lovekesh VIG, Rupinder VIRK

Publication number: 20200090407Abstract: An augmented reality viewing system is described. A local coordinate frame of local content is transformed to a world coordinate frame. A further transformation is made to a head coordinate frame and a further transformation is made to a camera coordinate frame that includes all pupil positions of an eye. One or more users may interact in separate sessions with a viewing system. If a canonical map is available, the earlier map is downloaded onto a viewing device of a user. Publication number: 20200080005Abstract: Direct steam injection (DSI) heating techniques can use a heater to heat a process stream in bitumen froth treatment. The DSI heater can include a diffuser with multiple side-by-side rows of outlets perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the diffuser, and a piston plug that moves axially within the diffuser to selectively cover rows of outlets to vary steam injection. The piston plug has first and second annular seals and is moved between different axial positions in a stepwise fashion such that when one or more rows of outlets are completely covered, the first annular seal is located in between adjacent rows and the second annular seal abuts against the diffuser to inhibit passage of steam so as to prevent cavitation. Patent number: 10585766Abstract: A secondary location is configured as a recovery service for a primary location of the service. The secondary location is maintained in a warm state that is configured to replace the primary location in a case of a failover. During normal operation, the secondary location is automatically updated to reflect a current state of the primary location that is actively servicing user load. Content changes to the primary location are automatically reflected to the secondary location. System changes applied to the primary location are automatically applied to the secondary location. For example, removing/adding machines, updating machine/role assignments, removing adding/database are automatically applied to the secondary location such that the secondary location substantially mirrors the primary location. After a failover to the secondary location, the secondary location becomes the primary location and begins to actively service the user load.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 2011Date of Patent: March 10, 2020Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Viktoriya Taranov, Daniel Blood, Alexander Hopmann, Siddharth Rajendra Shah, Tarkan Sevilmis, Nikita Voronkov, Ramanathan Somasundaram, Artsiom Kokhan, Bhavesh Doshi

Publication number: 20200074006Abstract: A method and system provide reduced and personalized versions of webpages to users lacking sufficient computing resources to load the full versions of the webpages in a satisfactorily short amount of time. The method and system receives a request from a user to access a webpage, analyze the computing resources of the user, and determine whether the user is able to load the full version of the webpage quickly. If the user is able to load the full version of the webpage quickly, then the method and system outputs the full version of the webpage to the user. If the user is unlikely able to load the full version of the webpage quickly, then the method and system outputs a reduced version of the webpage retaining the portions most likely to be relevant to the user based on an analysis of user data related to the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 29, 2018Publication date: March 5, 2020Applicant: Intuit Inc.Inventor: Siddharth Ram
