  • Publication number: 20250126139
Abstract: A network security computing system includes a steganographic communications analysis engine monitoring incoming and outgoing messages on a secure computing network. The steganographic communications analysis engine identifies a pattern of file transfers between a first computing device on the secure computing network and an internal or external message recipient. When a pattern is identified, the steganographic communications analysis engine quarantines an associated computing device from the secure network. The steganographic communications analysis engine analyzes files transferred between the computing device and the recipient for indications of steganographic information and causes display, based on an identified indication of steganography, an indication that the computing device had been compromised by command and control malware.

  • Publication number: 20250124631
Abstract: Systems and methods for modifying three-dimensional digital items to fit different character models are described herein. A machine learning system may be configured to compute a shape and a size of three-dimensional digital objects fit for a second character model based on a shape and a size of the three-dimensional digital objects fit for a first character model. Using the machine learning system, a base transform matrix may be generated, which corresponds to a first exemplary three-dimensional digital object fit for the first character model and a second exemplary three-dimensional digital object fit for the second character model. The machine learning system may be trained using the base transform matrix and machine-learning training data. Input data may be received from a client computing device, where the input data defines a plurality of input vertices for an input three-dimensional digital object fit for the first character model.

  • Publication number: 20250123445
Abstract: Matched fiber optic connectors are formed by aligning separate fiber bodies and then cutting optical fibers secured in the separate fiber bodies. The matched pair of fiber optic connectors are capable of supporting high-fiber count connectivity. The process includes placing optical fibers into a first fiber body aligned with a second fiber body with the optical fibers traversing a predetermined gap between the first end face and the second end face of the fiber bodies and securing the optical fibers to the fiber bodies using an adhesive. The optical fibers are cut at the predetermined gap between the aligned end faces of respective fiber bodies, thereby creating a first fiber optic connector having the first ends of the cut optical fibers matched and suitable for optical mating with the second ends of the cut optical fibers in a second fiber optic connector.

  • Publication number: 20250123269
Abstract: A robust human cell culture model permissive to both SARS-COV-2 variants and MERS-COV is critical for assessment and validation of antivirals. Human alveolar A549 cells are regarded as a valuable model for respiratory virus infection. SARS-COV-2 uses the angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor for viral entry and the transmembrane serine protease 2 (TMPRSS2) to prime the SARS-COV-2 spike protein. By contrast, MERS-COV utilizes the dipeptidyl peptidase 4 receptor (DPP4) to enter the target cells. Three of which are negligibly expressed in A549. Disclosed herein is a generation of a robust human cell model that carries DPP4, ACE2, and TMPRSS2 receptor expressions. By transducing Dpp4 into A549-ACE2plusC3 cells (ACE2+/TMPRSS2+), the resulting cells expressing DPP4, ACE2 and TMPRSS2 (“ACE2plusC3D4”) are highly susceptible to MERS-COV and SARS-CoV-2 omicron infection. This ACE2plusC3D4 cell model can be applied for evaluation of antiviral drugs and potentially developed for high-throughput screening.

  • Publication number: 20250121748
Abstract: An example includes a device having a base platform, a seat platform, and a swivel joint. The base platform is configured for affixation to an occupant seat of a motor vehicle. The base platform has a first and second base retainer component. The seat platform has a seat portion and a back portion. The seat platform has a first and a second seat retainer complement. The swivel joint couples the base platform and the seat platform and permits relative motion of the base platform and the seat platform about a rotary axis and constrain motion on other axes. At a first position of the base platform relative to the seat platform, the first seat retainer complement aligns with the first base retainer component. At a second position of the base platform relative to the seat platform (second position different than the first position), the second seat retainer complement aligns with the second base retainer component.
