  • Publication number: 20250123395
Abstract: Acquiring and illuminating a cooperative target with a laser beam from a remote source is disclosed. The process may be used for cooperative target tracking where the source/target are a ground station, an aircraft, UAV, drone, satellite, spacecraft, combinations thereof, etc. A laser beam can be rapidly and accurately pointed by an emitter source using a laser pointing system, such as a gimbal or other laser pointing device, for example. A differential GPS on the cooperative target detects its position and periodically sends this information either directly or indirectly to the laser emitter source. The cooperative target may also determine its attitude. The emitter source uses this information to keep the cooperative target illuminated with the laser beam. The system may be used for detection and tracking of atmospheric differential absorptions to detect, track, and mitigate atmospheric releases of global warming gases and toxic industrial chemicals, communication, surveying, lidar, etc.

Abstract: A method of forming a diamond coated glass structure includes providing a glass substrate having a first and a second side. The second side can be covered in whole or in part with a coating capable of reducing ion exchange. The substrate can be bent to form the first side as convex and the second side as concave. A CVD diamond layer can be deposited on the convex first side of the substrate and at least a portion of the substrate chemically modified through ion exchange. After removal of the stress, the stresses due to applied diamond layers and chemical modification through ion exchange can balance, providing a substantially flat diamond coated glass structure.

  • Publication number: 20250120436
Abstract: A vaping system includes a housing for selectively holding a first vaping device and a second vaping device. The first and second vaping devices each include a mouthpiece with a vapor outlet positioned towards a first edge. A first configuration within the housing spaces the vapor outlet of the first mouthpiece and the vapor outlet of the second mouthpiece by a first distance, and a second configuration within the housing spaces the vapor outlet of the first mouthpiece and the vapor outlet of the second mouthpiece by a second distance. The first distance is less than the second distance, the first configuration allowing the user to vape from the first and second vaping devices simultaneously and the second configuration allowing the user to separately vape from the first and second vaping devices. In another example, a connector with multiple configurations connects two or more vaping devices.
