Abstract: Creation of the electronic invention is the result of an individual's natural progression to create a digital photo album from archived CDs containing digital photo images. The invention will only read images that are within an inserted CD. It will be approximately the size of a hand-held photo album. This simple electronic device will display only common formatted images that are on a CD (eg, jpg). A scroll feature will display any image on the CD. Displayed images on the product's screen can also be outputted to a television set. Output will be controlled by the invention. Product will also be rechargeable. Patent will explore necessary accessories based on function. Device will be autonomous; it will not be attached to a computer.

Abstract: Flame retardant polyolefin pre-expanded particles made of a resin composition comprising a polyolefin resin and a sterically hindered amine ether flame retardant, which can be molded with good moldability to give in-mold foamed articles which have an excellent flame resistance and do not generate harmful gas at the time of burning.

Abstract: The present invention provides techniques for combining various types of diagnostic images. In one embodiment of the present invention, a composite image is obtained by fusing MPR and MIP images. The MPR is obtained from a CT scan, and the MIP is obtained from a PET scan. The resulting superimposed images help a physician to see the diagnostic information in context. In other embodiments of the present invention, techniques for an MIP-MIP overlay, VR-MIP overlay, and VR-MPR overlay are provided.

Abstract: A user interface enables a user to concurrently select a plurality of network objects of a network object database (e.g., a MIB) from a same network device or different network devices and specify a value, only once, to which to set the selected objects. The user can initiate setting of the selected objects on the one or more devices by specifying only once that the objects on such devices be set to the specified value. The user interface, which may include a GUI, may be configured to enable the user to specify a value for a cell of a first table (“editing table”), in response to which a plurality of cells of a second table (“primary table”) are set equal to the specified value. The primary table may represent a view of a network object database, each column of the view representing an object type of the network object database.

Abstract: An aircraft drain device (14) for interposition between a potable water line (e.g., the drain line from an ice drawer) and a gray water line leading to a drainmast or other external drain. The drain device (14) includes a housing (30), an inlet (36) adapted for connection to the potable water line, an outlet (38) adapted for connection to the gray water line, and a piston (40). The preferably floatable piston (40) is movable between a normal operation position, whereat potable water can flow to the drainmast, and a back-up operation position, whereat the potable water is protected from contact with the gray water. The drain device (14) can be constructed to prevent spillage (or leakage) during back-up operation.

Abstract: A process for alkylation of olefin-containing gases with low molecular weight branched alkanes to generate alkylate. The process involves the use of solid acid catalysts as alkylation catalysts. In a specific embodiment, the process employs a three-phase catalytic reactor where olefins present in the gas are reacted, preferably to extinction, with a large excess of liquid branched alkane.

Abstract: A user is enabled to edit a table defining a view of a network object database, for example, a MIB. The user can select from among a plurality of network object types and select from among a plurality of columns of the table. At least one column of the table is specified by the user and edited to represent a network object type specified by the user. The view definition can be extracted from the application and transported to another device where it can be edited and/or viewed using a suitable application. Such portable view definition may be defined as part of a document, for example, a document formatted in accordance with a markup language, such as XML. Such document may include information for requesting objects to populate the view, which may be used to construct requests (e.g., SNMP requests) to retrieve objects from one or more network devices.

Abstract: A massage vest for personal use. The massage vest has portions corresponding to body areas. The portions include a back portion, a front portion and an upper portion wherein the back portion covers the back of a torso, the front portion covers the stomach while the upper portion covers the shoulders. At least one transducer is coupled to the garment for imparting motions to provide massage motion to the torso while the user wears the vest. A controller is in communication with the at least one transducer to energize the at least one transducer.

Abstract: A tubular golf ball-dispensing container holds multiple golf balls for individual distribution. The container includes a biased lid for selectively loading and unloading of golf balls. A spring loaded compression system presses the stack of golf balls into the lid for continuous dispensing of individual balls. Upon removal of a ball from the container, the biased lid closes and the next ball is forced into the dispensing cup in the lid. The container may be attached to other gold equipment including golf bags, golf carts, and pull carts. With the addition of a support structure, the container may stand alone, a usefully configuration for use at a driving range.

Abstract: A catalyst composition for producing polyesters comprises: a) an organometallic compound obtained by reacting an orthoester or condensed orthoester of titanium, zirconium or aluminum, an alcohol containing at least two hydroxyl groups, a 2-hydroxy carboxylic acid and a base; and b) at least one compound comprising germanium, antimony or tin. Polyesters obtained by esterification reaction in the presence of the catalyst compositions according to the present invention exhibit improved melt properties and are particularly suitable for production of textile and commercial fibers, films and rigid packaging.

The front portion joins the back portion by first and second side seams forming a waist opening and leg openings. Each of the front and back portions includes a demarcation line positioned between first and second zones. Each of the front and back portions includes a first section, a second section, and a third section. The first section is longitudinally folded over the second section providing a first side seam positioned laterally outboard of a longitudinal centerline of the absorbent article to form a first longitudinal fold line. The third section is folded over the first section providing the second side seam positioned laterally outboard of the longitudinal centerline to form a second longitudinal fold line. The first zone is transversely folded along the demarcation line over a portion of the crotch forming a folded absorbent article.

Abstract: The invention provides a method of selling tape measures. The tape measures are contained within a point-of-sale vending device (i.e., a vending machine), and are dispensed individually when purchased by a user. Several varieties of tape measure may be included within the vending device. The vending device may allow the user to purchase tape measures using cash, credit cards, debit cards, store credit cards and automated clearing house transactions. Additionally, the vending device may be networked to a central inventory control computer to assist a retail store with inventory control and revenue tracking. Within the vending device, the tape measures may be unpackaged, resulting in a cost savings for the manufacturer. Because the tape measures are dispensed only when purchased and are inaccessible until then, theft of tape measures may be reduced or eliminated.

Abstract: A process for preparing an aqueous emulsion polymer including providing at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer and a free radical redox initiator system under emulsion polymerization conditions, the redox initiator system including a water-soluble oxidizing agent, a water-insoluble oxidizing agent, and a sulfinic acid, or salts thereof, reducing agent; and effecting the polymerization of at least some of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer is provided. Also provided is a process for reducing the residual ethylenically unsaturated monomer content of an aqueous emulsion polymer.

Abstract: The present invention provides a means of calculating and evaluating a premium financing program. The present invention provides an apparatus which takes into account factors and data such as various alternative sources of funding, various alternative inflows of assets, and various outflows of assets due to taxes, interest payments, selected insurance premiums, reinsurance costs, and transaction fees incurred in maintaining the premium financing program. The present invention provides a means to calculate the amounts needed in order to fund a premium financing program. The present invention additionally provides a means for obtaining lower cost life insurance, by offsetting the cost through reinsurance, and by providing an incentive to an individual to maintain the life insurance policy in full-force by providing the possibility of receiving the individual's death benefit while they are alive.

Abstract: A cable management system includes a horizontal support assembly (1) and a cable holder assembly (5). The cable holder assembly (5) consists of a cable holder (3) with hooks (8) and a cable holder cover (4). Excess cable, wire, line or cord is wrapped around the cable holder (3) and the cable holder cover (4) is installed. The cable holder assembly (5) is then hooked onto the horizontal support assembly (1). The cable management system manages, organizes, stores, protects and support the cables along a horizontal plane. Any cable holder assembly can be removed without disturbing the other cables. The system includes end pads (25), suction cups (26), top brackets (33), side brackets (38) and hanger brackets (41). Combined with the adjustable-length horizontal support assembly (1), these connectors allow the system to be installed on a wide variety of vertical (44) and horizontal (45) surfaces.

Abstract: Punchings for stator core laminations of a generator stator frame are disposed on a rotary table to form annular arrays of punchings, with each layer staggered relative to adjacent layers. A mandrel is disposed at the center of the table and has fingers projecting radially for receiving the slots of the punchings to facilitate location of the punchings on the table and relative to one another. An annular cover is provided and disposed over the uppermost layer of punchings and clamped to the superposed sets of annular layers of punchings. The cover and punchings can then be removed from the table for disposition in the generator stator frame. The fingers on the mandrel are displaced vertically relative to the table as the height of the punchings on the table increases.
