  • Patent number: 11424158
Abstract: A method comprises depositing a barrier layer on a dielectric layer to prevent oxidation of a metal layer to be deposited by electroplating due to an oxide present in the dielectric layer and depositing a doped liner layer on the barrier layer to bond with the metal layer to be deposited on the liner layer by the electroplating. The dopant forms a protective passivation layer on a surface of the liner layer and dissolves during the electroplating so that the metal layer deposited on the liner layer by the electroplating bonds with the liner layer. The dopant reacts with the dielectric layer and forms a layer of a compound between the barrier layer and the dielectric layer. The compound layer prevents oxidation of the barrier layer and the liner layer due to the oxide present in the dielectric layer and adheres the barrier layer to the dielectric layer.

  • Publication number: 20220261328
Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments that communicate label information for documents between two enterprise computer systems. The two computer systems operate asynchronous from each other, and have limited available resources for use in buffering information passing between them. To that end, traditional API architectures that utilize method calls and return parameters do not operate well in this environment, as a first computer systems resources can become exhausted if a second computer system is able to generate data faster than the first computer system can consume it. The problem is exacerbated if an error is experienced when processing the consumed data, especially if there are no resources available to store the data until the error can be cleared. To solve this problem, the disclosed embodiments provide an ability for a consumer to request that data previously delivered to it be delivered again by the producer, in some embodiments, after a specified time delay.

  • Patent number: 11410056
Abstract: A system according to which a network of physical sensors are configured to detect and track the performance of aircraft engines. The physical sensors are placed in specific locations to detect an exhaust gas temperature, vibration, speed, oil pressure, and fuel flow for each aircraft engine. The performance of each aircraft engine is then viewed in combination with oil consumption associated with that aircraft engine and the routine maintenance program associated with that aircraft engine to route the aircraft and move the aircraft, in accordance with the routing, to a specific location. The sensors efficiently track the performance and physical condition of the engines. Moreover, a listing of identified “at-risk” engines is displayed on a screen of a GUI in a manner that allows for easy navigation and display. Data point(s) that triggered the identification of each “at-risk” engine are easily accessible and viewable.

  • Patent number: 11400830
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include routing personal mobility vehicles based on road or path conditions. In some embodiments, trip routing for personal mobility vehicles participating in a dynamic transportation network may leverage road condition map data gathered from personal mobility vehicle sensors to evaluate potential routes for personal mobility vehicles. In some examples, the method may account for the type and/or characteristics of the personal mobility vehicle when evaluating a potential route. In some examples, the method may account for user preferences when evaluating a potential route. The method may also make matching decisions for a dynamic transportation matching system and/or personal mobility vehicle distribution decisions for the dynamic transportation network based on the conditions of prospective routes. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220234468
Abstract: Personal mobility vehicles, their various components, methods and systems for controlling, using, tracking, and/or interacting with personal mobility vehicles, and methods and systems for integrating personal mobility vehicles within dynamic transportation networks so that a personal mobility vehicle (PMV) can be used in combination with a vehicle of a transportation provider to efficiently complete a transportation request are discussed. For example, a PMV may be used in combination with a lane-constrained vehicle to improve travel time between two locations in situations where the time it may take for a lane-constrained vehicle to reach the starting location may be affected by traffic congestion at the starting location. The PMV may transport a transportation requestor from a starting location to an intermediate location away from the traffic congestion to then transfer to a lane-constrained vehicle for the remainder of the trip.

  • Patent number: 11372548
Abstract: Some systems compress data utilized by a user mode software without the user mode software being aware of any compression taking place. To maintain that illusion, such systems prevent user mode software from being aware of and/or accessing the underlying compressed states of the data. While such an approach protects proprietary compression techniques used in such systems from being deciphered, such restrictions limit the ability of user mode software to use the underlying compressed forms of the data in new ways. Disclosed herein are various techniques for allowing user-mode software to access the underlying compressed states of data either directly or indirectly. Such techniques can be used, for example, to allow various user-mode software on a single system or on multiple systems to exchange data in the underlying compression format of the system(s) even when the user mode software is unable to decipher the compression format.
