  • Patent number: 11690154
Abstract: An network addressable lighting device that receives the input power from a power source (PSE), such as a network Power Over Ethernet (PoE) source, at a physical interface and data assembly PIDA and passes the signal directly to a second power assembly (PA) while the AC coupled high-speed data lines stay exclusively on the PIDA that contains the input and output physical interfaces, such as RJ interfaces. All power rails required to run the PIDA are converted on the PA and can then be sent back to the PIDA via low-cost conventional board stacker connectors. Movement of the high-current is done on the power assembly and not the data assembly where the sensitive communications primarily occur. The implementations thus provide an ideal separation of power and data structures to reduce EMI/EMC issues in a low cost and compact device.

  • Patent number: 11564458
Abstract: A locking buckle assembly for coupling and decoupling a web strap includes a strap plate and a base part. The base part includes a front plate and a rear cover. A locking mechanism including a release button and a locking peg is positioned between the front plate and the rear cover. The release button and the locking peg are biased by a spring through respective openings in the front plate. A lock plate is provided on a surface of the front plate. Respective longitudinal axes of the lock plate and the front plate are angularly offset from each other. The strap plate includes an opening sized to receive the lock plate and couples to the base part when the lock plate captures the strap plate and the longitudinal axes of the strap plate and the base part are aligned. In that orientation, the locking peg couples to the strap plate and the strap plate and the base part are only decoupled by pressing of the release button in opposition to the urging of the spring.

  • Patent number: 11486803
Abstract: Various embodiments include methods and systems to dilute a sampled particle-laden aerosol stream in a recirculating type of aerosol diluter system. In one embodiment, a system to dilute a sampled aerosol stream includes an aerosol sample inlet. A primary diluter device includes a first inlet to receive the aerosol stream and a second inlet to receive a filtered portion of the aerosol stream and combining the filtered portion with an additional sampled aerosol stream. A flow diverter device splits at least the sampled aerosol stream into a first portion of the sampled aerosol stream and a remaining portion of the sampled aerosol stream. A filter receives the remaining portion of the sampled aerosol stream and provides a filtered aerosol stream to the second inlet of the primary diluter device. Other methods and apparatuses are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20210373717
Abstract: A user interface for a consumer appliance, including a method for operating the same, may provide for directing illumination of a first menu icon of the plurality of discrete menu icons at an operational brightness level, and receiving a selection signal corresponding to a second menu icon of the plurality of discrete menu icons during directing illumination of the first menu icon. The second menu icon may be in a relatively-dim state during directing illumination of the first menu icon. Furthermore, the user interface or method may provide for transmitting, based on the second-icon selection signal, an immediate illumination signal directing increased illumination of the second menu icon; and directing, based on the second-icon selection signal, a gradual brightness reduction of the first menu icon from the operational brightness level.
