Abstract: A method for calculating an assisted categorized budget includes: storing a plurality of account profiles, each profile including data related to a payment account including an account identifier, a transaction history for the account, and consumer data for a consumer associated with the account; receiving a budget request, the request including a specific account identifier; identifying a specific account profile including the specific account identifier; identifying one or more related account profiles based on related consumer data and/or transaction history; and generating a budget for the payment account related to the specific account profile, the budget being based on at least (i) the consumer data included in the specific account profile, (ii) the transaction history included in the specific account profile, and (iii) at least one of (a) the consumer data and (b) transaction history included in the identified one or more related account profiles.

Abstract: A method for imposing spending limits includes: storing data related to a payment account; receiving a spending limit request from a consumer associated with the account, the request including a spending target and spending category; generating a budget including a starting spending limit and two or more periods of time; applying, to the account, a spending limit, such that a value of transactions funded by the account during a first period of time and related to the spending category cannot exceed the applied spending limit, wherein the applied spending limit is the starting spending limit; decreasing the applied spending limit after the first period of time, such that transactions funded by the account during a second period of time cannot exceed the decreased applied spending limit; and repeating the decreasing step until the applied spending limit is equal to the spending target.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide circuits for generating high accuracy millimeter wave or radio frequency (RF) wideband in-phase (I) and quadrature (Q) oscillating signals having acceptable amplitude and phase mismatch over process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) variations with reduced cost, area, and power consumption. In one example apparatus, a polyphase filter having a first stage and a second stage is provided. Each stage comprises resistive elements and capacitive elements. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide for intentional resistive and/or capacitive value mismatch between the resistive or capacitive values of one or multiple stages such that the phase mismatch between the resulting I and Q signals may be reduced without degrading the amplitude mismatch. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide for replacing the resistive elements in at least one stage with transistors operating in the triode region, where the on-resistance is controlled by a feedback network.

Abstract: A three-dimensional array of memory elements that reversibly change a level of electrical conductance in response to a voltage difference being applied across them. The memory elements can be set to a low resistance state and reset to a high resistance state during standard operation by biasing appropriate voltages on the word lines and bit lines. Prior to standard operation, the memory elements undergo a forming operation, during which current through the bit lines is limited. A forming voltage is applied to the memory elements during forming with a polarity such that a higher voltage is applied to anodes and a lower voltage to cathodes.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media with executable instructions, and/or logic are provided for incremental image clustering. An example method for incremental image clustering can include identifying, via a computing device, a number of candidate nodes from among evaluated leaf image cluster (LIC) nodes on an image cluster tree (ICT) based on a similarity between a feature of a new image and an average feature of each of the evaluated LIC nodes. The evaluated nodes include at least one node along each path from a root node to either a leaf node or a node having a similarity exceeding a first threshold. A most-similar node can be determined, via the computing device, from among the number of candidate nodes. The new image can be inserted to a node associated with the determined most-similar node, via the computing device.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure may include methods, systems, and computer readable media with executable instructions. An example method for retrieving visual media can include receiving a text query associated with a target content. A first group of visual media is identified based on correspondence of metadata of the visual media with the text query, and keyframes from the first group of identified visual media are selected. The method further includes detecting instances of a content type in the selected keyframes, and grouping similar instances of the content type into clusters. The target content is associated with a cluster having a greatest quantity of similar instances.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of imputing a personal holiday associated with a consumer into a forecast model includes steps, using a processing device, for accessing transaction records associated with purchasing activity of a consumer in a payment network over a predetermined period of time, the transaction records including information about a purchase and date when the purchase was made. The method further includes predicting a personal holiday of the consumer within the predetermined period of time based on the transaction records, wherein the personal holiday repeats at regular intervals within the predetermined period of time; and imputing the date into a forecast model to predict future purchase activity of the consumer. A system includes a processing device and memory to store instructions that, when executed by the processing device, cause the processing device to perform the operations comprising the method steps of the computer-implemented method.

Abstract: Disclosed is a membrane surface modification method. The method is applicable to a variety of hydrophobic membranes by doping selected inorganic particles. One act of the method involves the in-situ embedment of the inorganic particles onto the membrane surface by dispersing the particles in a non-solvent bath for polymer precipitation. Further membrane surface modification can be achieved by hydrothermally growing new inorganic phase on the embedded particles. The embedment of particles is for the subsequent phase growth.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a communication management apparatus and a communication management method. The AMOLED display panel includes: a multitude of pixel circuits; a multitude of data lines coupled to the pixel circuits; a driver unit, which is configured to provide a first data signal; a multipath selection unit, which is connected between the data lines and the driver unit, and configured to transmit the first data signal to the selected data line; and a voltage stabilizer unit, which is connected to the data lines, and configured to output a second signal to the data lines; wherein, before a data writing stage, the second signal outputted from the voltage stabilizer unit is applied to the data lines. The number of wired data lines in the AMOLED display panel and the volume of the display panel are reduced, and the manufacturing process of the display panel is simplified.
