Abstract: The present invention discloses a Schottky barrier diode (SBD) and a manufacturing method thereof. The SBD is formed on a substrate. The SBD includes: a gallium nitride (GaN) layer; an aluminum gallium nitride (AlGaN), formed on the GaN layer; a high work function conductive layer, formed on the AlGaN layer, wherein a first Schottky contact is formed between the high work function conductive layer and the AlGaN layer; a low work function conductive layer, formed on the AlGaN layer, wherein a second Schottky contact is formed between the low work function conductive layer and the AlGaN layer; and an ohmic contact metal layer, formed on the AlGaN layer, wherein an ohmic contact is formed between the ohmic contact metal layer and the AlGaN layer, and wherein the ohmic contact conductive layer is separated from the high and low work function conductive layers by a dielectric layer.

Abstract: A digital photo frame with automatic image recognition, a display system, and a method thereof is related to the digital photo frame including an image capturing unit, a storage unit, an image recognition unit, a comparison unit, and a display unit. First, the image capturing unit captures an image data of a object, and the storage unit stores a plurality of image data. Next, the image recognition unit recognizes a feature corresponding to the object in the captured image data, and the comparison unit searches for at least one image data having the recognized feature in the plurality of image data stored in the storage unit according to the recognized feature. Finally, the display unit displays the at least one image data obtained by searching.

Abstract: An AC/CD lamp holder includes a first lamp base having a first end adapted to electrically connect to an AC power source; and an AC/DC transformer having an AC side electrically connected to a second end of the first lamp base opposite to the first end thereof, and a DC side provided with at least one coupling section for electrically connecting with positive and negative electrodes of a DC lighting device. The AC/DC transformer and the first lamp base are formed into one integral body. A DC lighting device can be directly connected to the coupling section of the AC/DC lamp holder to obtain power from a conventional AC power source and provide the illuminating effect. A user needs not to change the whole power supply system or externally connect an AC/DC transformer to the AC power source to thereby save the cost for changing the power supply system.
