  • Patent number: 6116774
Abstract: A bonded body uses an adhesive having high water resistance to realize an adhesive-fixed structure having excellent waterproof properties and exhibiting relatively low changes in properties of the adhesive layer over time. The adhesive-fixed body of the present invention can be obtained by bonding and fixing a body and a glass cover as exterior pairs of a watch with an adhesive layer. The adhesive of the invention can be a curable adhesive containing 100 parts by weight of prepolymer resin having polytetramethylene oxide as a main chain and methacryl groups or acryl groups at both ends of the main chain or in side chains, 50 to 300 parts by weight of at least one selected from acrylic monomers or methacrylic monomers comprising isobornyl acrylate, isobornyl methacrylate or a mixture thereof, and a coupling agent.

  • Patent number: 6031916
Abstract: A sound effect adding device includes an instruction storage section in a DSP for storing a main routine including a program for controlling an input and an output of an audio signal, and a plurality of selected sound effect adding routines transferred from a master CPU from among selectable sound effect adding routines when necessary and operable when accessed by the main routine. The main routine has a function to assign the input audio signal to the selected sound effect adding routines and collect sound effect added signals outputted from the selected sound effect adding routines so as to provide an output signal. By changing coefficient data transferred from the master CPU and stored in the DSP, the main routine performs change in connection between the input and output signals so as to change a combination of the sound effects without altering the main routine.

  • Patent number: 5944064
Abstract: An engaging portion in engagement with a tying material and a hook, as a twisting mechanism, are mounted on an oscillating member provided on a spindle, and the continuous linear tying material is fed in a direction crossing a spindle axis into engagement with the engaging portion to form a starting point which is folded into a U-shape. In this state, the tying material is delivered to an encompassing guide to thereby guide the tying material around articles to be tied together, while forming two wires by folding the tying material into a substantially U-shape by a feeding force. The engaging portion and the hook are integrally rotated so that a folded extreme end portion and a rear end portion on the other side of the tying material are twisted together with each other to tie articles together. Accordingly, tying can be firmly done with one winding, while forming two wires by automatically folding the continuous linear tying material in half.

  • Patent number: 5932931
Abstract: When a closing end of a vehicle windowpane is located at the upper side of a preset point P1 while the windowpane is closing, an obstacle pinched between a window frame and the windowpane is detected by a window frame sensor. When the closing end of the vehicle window is located at the lower side of a preset point P2, the pinched obstacle is detected by the window frame sensor and a motor rotation speed sensor, which indicates changes in motor driving load. This prevents a vehicle window control system from operating erroneously when an obstacle is pinched at a slope portion of the window frame.

  • Patent number: 5925842
Abstract: A waveform generator LSI generates waveform data in units of time slots corresponding to tone generation channels in accordance with tone control data assigned to the individual channels, and accumulates waveform data for the individual channels to form at least one polyphonic tone data. The tone control data are updated by time division control in units of time slots of the channels. By suspending update of control data in the time slot of an unused channel in accordance with data indicating the used/unused status of each channel, switching of CMOS elements composing the waveform generator LSI is suppressed so that the LSI operates at low power. In a system using a waveform memory outside the waveform generator LSI, the read address to be supplied to the waveform memory in the time slot of an unused channel is fixed at a previous value, thus also attaining power savings of the external memory.

  • Patent number: 5774046
Abstract: In a power window apparatus, an external force which develops at the time of catching foreign objects in a window is detected directly by a window frame sensor and indirectly by a motor load detection circuit. Automatic window closing operation is disabled when the external force exceeds a first and a second predetermined levels of the window frame sensor and the motor load detection circuit, respectively. When the window frame sensor fails, the window closing operation is disabled and a warning is provided at the time the external force detected by the load detection circuit reaches a third predetermined level. Alternatively, the automatic window closing operation is disabled when the external force exceeds the first or the second predetermined levels of the window frame sensor or the motor load detection circuit, respectively. When the window frame sensor fails, the window closing operation is disabled and the warning is provided at the time the external force reaches the second predetermined level.
