    Abstract: A mobile device is disclosed. The mobile device may receive, from a network node, information indicative of a predetermined time delay to be utilized in connection with an RF sensing procedure utilizing uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) signals. The mobile device may receive an RF sensing reference signal (RS) transmitted by a base station. Responsive to the predetermined time delay elapsing, the mobile device may transmit a corresponding RF sensing RS at a time corresponding to the predetermined time delay after a time at which the RF sensing RS was received, wherein a time at which the corresponding RF sensing RS is received and the predetermined time delay are usable to determine positioning information of the mobile device.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for channel sounding for wireless communications. Some implementations more specifically relate to scheduling sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets for wireless devices having more than 4 receive (RX) antenna ports. In some implementations, a base station may determine an antenna switching capability of a user equipment (UE). The antenna switching capability indicates a number of RX antenna ports of the UE. The base station schedules a number of SRS resource sets for the UE based at least in part on the number of RX antenna ports in excess of four. For example, the number of RX antenna ports may be equal to 8. As another example, the number of RX antenna ports may be equal to 6. The base station further receives, from the UE, uplink transmissions of one or more SRS resources for each of the scheduled SRS resource sets.

    Abstract: During positioning of a user equipment (UE), (DL) positioning reference signals (PRS) transmitted by one or more transmission reception point (TRP) in a wireless communication system may be preempted or punctured by higher priority transmissions, such as ultra-reliable low-latency traffic (URLLC). A PRS preemption indication (PI) may be provided to a UE identifying one or more TRPs affected by preemption. The PRS PI may further identify the time domain and frequency domain of the preempted DL PRS transmissions. The PRS PI may identify the time domain, e.g., based on a number of PRS symbols between two monitoring occasions, wherein only PRS symbols that contain positioning reference signals associated with the group of TRPs are counted. The PRS PI may identify the frequency domain by identifying at least one of four or more frequency sub-bands of the preempted DL PRS transmissions.

The non-RF sensors, for example, may be one or more of a camera, ultra-sound sensor, lidar, barometer, etc. The object features for the target object, which may be related to the object size, position, motion, etc. may be separately reported for each non-RF technology or may be reported as a common set of object features. The object feature report may include a time stamp, and may associate an object ID for the target object with the reported object features. Some object features may be prioritized over others, and object features that do not change may not be reported in subsequent reports.
