Abstract: An LCD including a backlight module and an LCD panel is provided. The LCD panel includes a color light guide panel, suitable for differentiating an incident light into multiple color lights. The color light guide panel includes a substrate and a color light output structure. The substrate has multiple pixel regions, and the color light output structure is disposed in each of the pixel regions. The color light output structure includes first˜fourth nano-patterns. The incident light is scattered by the first nano-pattern for producing a first color light, scattered by the second nano-pattern for producing a second color light, scattered by the third nano-pattern for producing a third color light, and scattered by the fourth nano-pattern for producing a fourth color light. The color light guide panel can output uniform and high luminous first˜fourth color light, and the LCD can display high quality image.

Abstract: A method is provided to update firmware of a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader through a network system, wherein a management host issues an update message to a gateway through the network system, and then depending upon the location where reader firmware update data is stored, either the management host transmits the reader firmware update data through the gateway to each designated RFID reader, or the gateway directly transmits the reader firmware update data to each of the designated RFID readers. A microprocessor of the RFID reader stores the received reader firmware update data to a firmware data storage section of a memory unit thereof.

Abstract: A gateway device that is in electronic connection with at least one client computer, a first domain name system (DNS) server located in a first communication network, and a second DNS server located in a second communication network separated from the first communication network. When a domain name is transmitted to both the first DNS server and the second DNS server, the first DNS server and the second DNS server respectively resolve the domain name into two groups of internet protocol (IP) addresses, and the gateway device compares the two groups of IP addresses with each other to select one of the two groups of IP addresses that is identified as all IP addresses of which are safe, and allows the client computer to access websites within the first communication network via the selected group of IP addresses to prevent the client computer from phishing attacks.

Abstract: A semiconductor package structure and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The semiconductor package structure includes a semiconductor die, a thermally conductive film, a substrate, a plurality of electrically conductive film patterns, and at least one insulator. The thermally conductive film is disposed on the bottom of the semiconductor die. The substrate is substantially comprised of the electrically conductive material or semiconductor material. Furthermore, a first hole is disposed on and passed all the way through the substrate, and the semiconductor die is disposed in the first hole. The electrically conductive film patterns are disposed on the substrate, and not contacting with each other. In addition, the insulator is connected between the semiconductor die and the substrate.

Abstract: A customer premises equipment (CPE) receives data packets from a network service device via a primary service flow. When the CPE detects flood of packets in the data packets received via the primary service flow, the CPE determines a source Internet protocol (IP) address of the flood of packets. The CPE establishes a new service flow with the network service device. A source IP address of the new service flow is set to the source IP address of the flood of packets, and a transfer speed of the new service flow is less than that of the primary service flow. The CPE transfers the flood of packets from the primary service flow to the new service flow.

Abstract: A system and method for concentrating a slurry is disclosed. A preferred embodiment comprises a filter that is used to filter a slurry into a concentrate and a permeate. A portion of the permeate is used in a backflow operation of the filter once a pressure differential of 0.8 bar is obtained from the filter inlet to the permeate outlet of the filter.

Abstract: A two-way connectivity USB control device and its operation method are disclosed. The present invention solves a problem of the prior art that requires users to manually switch a USB controller between an active mode and a passive mode and set a predetermined time interval as in prior art. The two-way connectivity USB control device detects whether or not there is a voltage input. If the detection result is yes, then the two-way connectivity USB control device is switched to a transmit mode, or else the two-way connectivity USB control device is switched to a transparent mode for accessing data stored in an external device by issuing a control command directly.

Abstract: A voice communication system for achieving a public switch telephone network (PSTN) communication and an internet communication is provided. The system comprises a host, a control device and a telephone. The invention features advantages of both the PSTN and the internet, and further covers the natural shortcomings of each other.

Abstract: An audio processing apparatus is provided. A beamformer receives input signals and processes the input signals to generate a first processed signal. The input signals include at least one of a source signal and interference. A blocking matrix receives the input signals and operates to cancel the source signal from the input signals to generate a second processed signal. A first adaptive filter has adaptable first filter coefficients, generates a first filtered signal approximating the interference according to the first and second processed signals and continuously adapts the first filter coefficients according to the first filtered signal and the first processed signal. A second adaptive filter has adaptable second filter coefficients, generates a second filtered signal approximating the interference according to the first and second processed signals and selectively adapts the second filter coefficients according to the first filter coefficients and an output signal.

The cable includes a first sensing device at a first location of the cable. The first sensing device is adapted for sensing a relative position of the first sensing device. Further, the cable includes a second sensing device at a second location of the cable. The second sensing device is adapted for sensing a relative position of the second sensing device. The first and the second sensing devices are adapted to communicate with each other; and one of the first and second sensing devices is adapted to communicate with a geographical position sensing module of the wind energy system.

Abstract: A touch apparatus including a touch capacitor and a touch control unit is provided. The touch control unit includes a signal sampling and saving unit, a switch unit, and a signal processing unit. The signal sampling and saving unit samples and saves a voltage on the touch capacitor during enable periods of a sample signal and a charge reset signal, so as to generate a touch voltage and a reset voltage respectively, and further generate an average voltage of the touch voltage and the reset voltage according to an equalization signal. The switch unit receives and transmits the touch voltage, the reset voltage, and the average voltage according to a first control signal. The signal processing unit couples the touch voltage, the reset voltage, the average voltage, and a common voltage according to a second control signal, so as to generate a first coupling voltage and a second coupling voltage.

The rectifying-filtering unit is used for rectifying and filtering the primary voltage to generate a secondary voltage. The rectifying-dividing unit is used for rectifying and dividing the primary voltage to generate a detecting voltage. The control unit is used for receiving the secondary voltage, and generating a pulse voltage whose duty cycle is variable with the detecting voltage. The voltage transforming unit is used for transforming the secondary voltage to a driving voltage for driving the luminous element to emit light according to the pulse voltage. A related electronic apparatus is also provided.

According to one of the broader forms of the invention, a method and apparatus involve an integrated circuit that includes a heat transfer structure having a chamber that has a fluid disposed therein and that extends between a heat generating portion and a heat absorbing portion. Heat is absorbed into the fluid from the heat generating portion, and the fluid changes from a first phase to a second phase different from the first phase when the heat is absorbed. Heat is released from the fluid to the heat absorbing portion, and the fluid changes from the second phase to the first phase when the heat is released.

Abstract: An indium oxide-based particle is provided. The indium oxide-based particle has a mono-dispersive and spherical non-crystalline structure (spherical morphology with amorphous phase). The diameter of particle is ranged between 0.10 ?m and 0.70 ?m, and the content of an indium oxide is ranged between 10.0 percent by mass and 99.9 percent by mass. The indium oxide-based particle is generated by the precursor with indium ion reacting with alpha hydroxyl acid in an aqueous solution with alkali-modifier additive at a constant temperature. The indium-oxide based particle can be further calcinated as a crystalline indium oxide particle.

Abstract: A method for sending a keycode of a non-keyboard apparatus is provided and includes the following steps. The non-keyboard apparatus determines the connection status between itself and a computer by the time required for device enumeration. Then, according to a value generated from device enumeration, the non-keyboard apparatus identifies the kind of operating system running on the computer. The non-keyboard apparatus sends to the computer a keycode corresponding to the Num Lock key and/or a keycode corresponding to the Caps Lock key such that a sending time and a feedback time are obtained. A parameter related to the efficiency of the computer is then calculated based.

Abstract: A video conference apparatus having a path-selecting unit is disclosed. A camera data captured by a camera can be transferred into the video processor via a content data path and be displayed as a content video, or the camera data can be transferred into a video processor via a camera data path and be displayed as a live video. A video conference method thereof is also disclosed.

Abstract: An image sensor package and a method for fabricating thereof are provided. A substrate having an insulator filled cavity is provided with an image sensor device electrical connected to a metal layer, thereon. A covering plate is then disposed on the substrate. The substrate is subsequently thinned to expose the insulator. Removing a portion of the insulator, a hole is formed and a conductive layer is filled therein to form a via hole. Next, a solder ball is located over a backside of the substrate which is electrically connected to the metal layer through the via hole. The image sensor package is thinned, thus, the dimensions thereof are reduced.
