    Abstract: An LCD including a backlight module and an LCD panel is provided. The LCD panel includes a color light guide panel, suitable for differentiating an incident light into multiple color lights. The color light guide panel includes a substrate and a color light output structure. The substrate has multiple pixel regions, and the color light output structure is disposed in each of the pixel regions. The color light output structure includes first˜fourth nano-patterns. The incident light is scattered by the first nano-pattern for producing a first color light, scattered by the second nano-pattern for producing a second color light, scattered by the third nano-pattern for producing a third color light, and scattered by the fourth nano-pattern for producing a fourth color light. The color light guide panel can output uniform and high luminous first˜fourth color light, and the LCD can display high quality image.

    Abstract: A method is provided to update firmware of a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader through a network system, wherein a management host issues an update message to a gateway through the network system, and then depending upon the location where reader firmware update data is stored, either the management host transmits the reader firmware update data through the gateway to each designated RFID reader, or the gateway directly transmits the reader firmware update data to each of the designated RFID readers. A microprocessor of the RFID reader stores the received reader firmware update data to a firmware data storage section of a memory unit thereof.

    Abstract: A gateway device that is in electronic connection with at least one client computer, a first domain name system (DNS) server located in a first communication network, and a second DNS server located in a second communication network separated from the first communication network. When a domain name is transmitted to both the first DNS server and the second DNS server, the first DNS server and the second DNS server respectively resolve the domain name into two groups of internet protocol (IP) addresses, and the gateway device compares the two groups of IP addresses with each other to select one of the two groups of IP addresses that is identified as all IP addresses of which are safe, and allows the client computer to access websites within the first communication network via the selected group of IP addresses to prevent the client computer from phishing attacks.

    Abstract: A customer premises equipment (CPE) receives data packets from a network service device via a primary service flow. When the CPE detects flood of packets in the data packets received via the primary service flow, the CPE determines a source Internet protocol (IP) address of the flood of packets. The CPE establishes a new service flow with the network service device. A source IP address of the new service flow is set to the source IP address of the flood of packets, and a transfer speed of the new service flow is less than that of the primary service flow. The CPE transfers the flood of packets from the primary service flow to the new service flow.

If the detection result is yes, then the two-way connectivity USB control device is switched to a transmit mode, or else the two-way connectivity USB control device is switched to a transparent mode for accessing data stored in an external device by issuing a control command directly.

The rectifying-filtering unit is used for rectifying and filtering the primary voltage to generate a secondary voltage. The rectifying-dividing unit is used for rectifying and dividing the primary voltage to generate a detecting voltage. The control unit is used for receiving the secondary voltage, and generating a pulse voltage whose duty cycle is variable with the detecting voltage. The voltage transforming unit is used for transforming the secondary voltage to a driving voltage for driving the luminous element to emit light according to the pulse voltage. A substrate having an insulator filled cavity is provided with an image sensor device electrical connected to a metal layer, thereon. A covering plate is then disposed on the substrate. The substrate is subsequently thinned to expose the insulator. Removing a portion of the insulator, a hole is formed and a conductive layer is filled therein to form a via hole. Next, a solder ball is located over a backside of the substrate which is electrically connected to the metal layer through the via hole. The image sensor package is thinned, thus, the dimensions thereof are reduced.
