  • Publication number: 20050269976
Abstract: An improved LCD back light panel lamp connecting structure comprises cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL), and adjacent CCFL modules having high voltage ends and feedback ends arranged alternately, and the feedback ends on both sides of the CCFLs respectively coupled to two return boards. The feedback end of the CCFL is coupled to a proximate return board, and the return board is disposed separately at both ends of the CCFLs. Two return boards are coupled to a pulse width modulation (PWM) control unit so that the two return boards feed back the current to the PWM control unit. The high voltage end of the CCFL is coupled to a transformer.

  • Publication number: 20050259065
Abstract: The present invention provides a back light source generator for solving the problem of uneven illumination and shadow of a bottom lighting type back light source. The present invention increases the brightness of light generating elements and then increases the illumination of the two outsides of the liquid crystal panel by increasing the lamp current (driving current) of the light generating elements which are nearest to two outsides of a liquid crystal panel, thereby solving the problem that the illumination of the two outsides of the liquid crystal panel is relatively lower than other regions or the whole illumination is uneven.

  • Publication number: 20050253794
Abstract: An impulse driving method and apparatus thereof for a liquid crystal display (LCD) are provided. The gate driver of the liquid crystal device generates first scan signals for controlling gate lines of the liquid crystal device according to the received first start vertical signal and first output enable signal. The scan signals are generated corresponding to the pixel data signals outputted from the data driver of the LCD. Moreover, the gate driver of the LCD generates second scan signals according to the received second start vertical signal and second output enable signals. The scan signals are generated corresponding to black data signals output from the data driver of the liquid crystal device. Therefore, the control signal scheme is simplified and the black insertion ratio is easily controlled.

  • Publication number: 20050242750
Abstract: The present invention provides an inverter circuit with a power factor corrector. A power source provides a power signal of alternating current. An electromagnetic interference filtering unit and a rectifier unit receive the power signal of alternating current, filter and rectify the power signals, and then output a half-wave power signal of direct current. A voltage adjusting unit provides a voltage adjusting value. A power factor corrector receives the half-wave power signal of direct current, connected to the voltage adjusting unit, converting the voltage of the half-wave power signal of direct current in accordance with the voltage adjusting value, and then outputting a power signal. An inverter steps up the voltage and outputting a power signal with high voltage to a load which is subsequently connected to the inverter, such that the power signal with high voltage has preferred corrected power factor and adjusts the brightness of the load.

Abstract: The present invention provides an inverter circuit with a power factor corrector. A power source provides a power signal of alternating current. An electromagnetic interference filtering unit and a rectifier unit receive the power signal of alternating current, filter and rectify the power signals, and then output a full-wave/half-wave power signal of direct current. A voltage adjusting unit provides a voltage adjusting value. A first power factor corrector receives the full-wave/half-wave power signal of direct current, connected to the voltage adjusting unit, converting the voltage of the full-wave/half-wave power signal of direct current in accordance with the voltage adjusting value, and then outputting a power signal. An inverter steps up the voltage and outputting a power signal with high voltage to a load which is subsequently connected to the inverter, such that the power signal with high voltage has a preferred corrected power factor.

  • Patent number: 6958582
Abstract: The present invention is a lamp current control circuit applied to a high voltage outputting combination for providing uniformity of lamp current of at least one load. Voltage dividing units of the lamp current control circuit receive high power signals output by the high voltage outputting combination and redistributes high power signals to lower power signals. A signal-processing unit receives the lower power signals distributed by the voltage-dividing units, compares the lower power signals with each other, and outputs the compensation power signal to the control unit. The compensation power signal is compared with a reference power signal of a variable unit, and a comparison power signal is output, thereby uniformly distributing the lamp current inside the load. For the above reason, it prevents power loss inside the load or damage to the load from abnormal lamp currents.

  • Patent number: 6954008
Abstract: An integrated power supply apparatus for information appliances includes a power supply input unit, a rectification unit and a voltage boosting unit. The previous design of transforming low voltage to high voltage through a voltage boosting unit (inverter) is changed to transforming to medium voltage through the rectification unit then is transformed to high voltage through the voltage boosting unit. Therefore loss on the low voltage power supply is eliminated, and performance may increase from 64% to about 80% or more. Thus the low voltage power supply module that otherwise should have extra power and greater watts may be shrunk and power supply efficiency may increase.

  • Patent number: 6949404
Abstract: Provided are a semiconductor flip chip package with warpage control and fabrication methods for such packages. The packages of the present invention include heat spreader lids that are rigidly attached to the die or packaging substrate with a bond that can withstand the considerable bowing pressures caused by the CTE mismatch between the die and substrate. The result is a package with less bowing and so improved co-planarity (in compliance with industry specifications) with the PCB board to which it is ultimately bound. Package reliability is thereby also enhanced, particularly for large die sizes.

  • Publication number: 20050205400
Abstract: A silver contact structure for conductive blades aims at providing an increased contact area between a silver contact and a conductive blade so that the silver contact may be fixed more securely without breaking off. The conductive blade has a fastening section running through which has a non-circular and irregular cross section to increase the horizontal frictional force so that the silver contact is less likely to break off and may result in a longer service life. The contact area between the silver contact and the conductive blade also increases, thus enhancing the heat dissipation.
