    Abstract: Provided are flip chip device assembly methods that integrate the solder joining and underfill operations of the assembly process. Solder joining of the die and substrate and curing of the underfill material between the die and substrate is accomplished in the same heating and cooling operation. As a result, the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) mismatch stresses incurred prior to application and curing of underfill by a device packaged according to the conventional technique having a separate heating and cooling operation following solder joining, are avoided. These stresses are of particular concern in smaller device size technologies (e.g., 0.13 microns and smaller) using low k dielectrics and large die sizes due the difference in CTP between the die and substrate.

    Abstract: A wafer has a substrate defined with a first region and a second region. An ONO layer, a first silicon layer, and a silicon nitride layer are formed on the substrate in sequence. Then the ONO layer, the first silicon layer, and the silicon nitride layer disposed on the second region are removed. At least one gate oxide layer is formed on the second region and a second silicon layer is deposited on the wafer. After that, a photo-etching process is performed to remove the second silicon layer and the silicon nitride layer on the first region. At least a third silicon layer is formed on the wafer. Photo-etching processes and a plurality of ion implantation processes are then performed to form a gate, a drain, and a source of each MOS transistor on the substrate.

A movable anchor lug is provided on an upper side of the anchor dock.     Abstract: A multi-stage thermoacoustic device includes a resonance tube mounted therein a plurality of stacks and a plurality of heat exchangers interlaid with each other adjacent to a second end of the resonance tube. A working fluid is filled in the resonance tube. A driver mounted on a first end of the resonance tube drives the working fluid oscillate in the resonance tube, the working fluid is compressed and expanded and causes temperature oscillation and thermal energy flowing from one end of the stack to the other end. The thermal energy, such as cooling capacity, is finally transferred outward through the heat exchangers on sides of the stacks. The multiple stacks and heat exchangers perform a multiple stage temperature gradient. More thermal energy is transferred, and the working efficiency is improved.

Optionally an additional small mold is installed inside the discharge mold of the injection molder, filled with fiberglass or other materials different from that of the blade, so that the finished blade will incorporate a layer of composite materials for better strength, solidarity and durability.

    Abstract: An anchor apparatus for a curtain cord is located in a U-shaped frame that has a front wall and a rear wall. The apparatus includes an anchor wheel and a brake wheel that may be closed to each other to anchor a curtain cord. The anchor wheel is an angle wheel with flat surfaces formed on the peripheral surface to match teeth traces formed on the brake wheel to control the anchoring of the curtain cord. The curtain cord is not damaged by heavy clutching and crushing when in use. Operation may be done with less effort. Compressing effect is improved and durability may be increased.

    Abstract: Methods of planarizing structures formed on the surfaces of substrates and wafers are disclosed. The methods form a planarizing layer over the surface and the structures, or the locations where the structures are to be formed, such that the top surface of the layer has low areas between the locations of the structures, and such that the low areas lie substantially within a plane which is below the tops of the structures. A polish-stop layer is thee formed over the low areas of the planarizing layer, the polish-stop layer being more resistant to polishing than the planarizing layer and, preferably, the structures. The resulting surface is then polished. The polishing may be accomplished by, for example, standard mechanical polishing, and chemical-mechanical polishing.

    Abstract: A multi-load piezoelectric transformation circuit driver module consists of at least one pair of piezoelectric ceramic transformers and one load connecting to each piezoelectric ceramic transformer. Each pair of voltages of the same phase are input to a pair of input ends which have opposite polarization, or the two piezoelectric ceramic transformers group have input ends of opposite polarization or its group assembly output an even number of voltages with opposite phases to input ends of the loads which the feedback ends coupled together in series. When driven by piezoelectric transformation circuit, due to opposite polarization, output a pair of voltages of opposite phases can obtain improved characteristics such as even current, greater output power and better matching impedance. And a single driver circuit can actuate multiple sets of loads simultaneously in a stable fashion.
