    Abstract: An automatic focusing system in a low-illumination setting and a method using the same are disclosed. Through a selection of the memory bits and a tone adjustment, an automatic focusing could be precisely achieved. According to one embodiment, a lens module and an image sensor are firstly used for generating the digital image signals. Next, a gain adjustment unit is introduced to adjusting the gain of the signals, so as to reduce the noises. A memory bit retrieving unit is further used to retrieve the data from a plurality of memory bits. Next, a tone adjusting process is performed to raise the signals' contrast.

Whereby, the photographic device acquires the image information of the plurality of positions by the non-equivalent focus distance interval, acquires a coarse focus position, and acquires an accurate focus position by the constant focus distance according to the coarse focus position.

    Abstract: A method for forming vias and trenches for an interconnect structure on a substrate includes exposing via pitch reduction patterns in a photoresist layer, developing the patterns to remove the via pitch reduction patterns, etching the photoresist layer partially using a polymer gas to reshape the pattern into small via shapes, and etching the remaining photoresist layer to extend the reshaped pattern. The reshaped small via shape patterns have a smaller pitch than the via pitch reduction patterns in a long direction. For via pitch reduction patterns having two vias each, the pattern has a peanut-shape. During the reshaping etch operation, the polymer gas deposits more in a pinched-in middle section while allowing downward etch in unpinched sections.

    Abstract: A manufacturing method of a nitride crystalline film includes following steps. First, a substrate is provided. Next, a first nitride crystalline film is formed on the substrate. A patterned mask is then formed on the first nitride crystalline film. The patterned mask covers a first part of the first nitride crystalline film and exposes a second part of the first nitride crystalline film. Afterwards, the second part is etched, and the first part is maintained. After that, the patterned mask is removed. The first part is then etched to form a plurality of nitride crystal nuclei. Next, a second nitride crystalline film is formed on the substrate, and the second nitride crystalline film is made to cover the nitride crystal nuclei. A nitride film and a substrate structure are also provided.

    Abstract: A panel module with simplified supporting structure and a portable electronic apparatus with the panel module are disclosed. The portable electronic apparatus includes a casing where the panel module is disposed. The panel module includes a frame and a bracket. The frame includes a reverse U-shaped passage. A display panel is fixed on the frame. The bracket includes a reverse U-shaped body and a plurality of fixing parts connected to the reverse U-shaped body. The reverse U-shaped body is accommodated in the reverse U-shaped passage. The fixing parts protrude out of the frame. The panel module is fixed on the casing by the fixing parts. Therefore, the invention uses the bracket with the reverse U-shaped structure to directly provide required fixedness and structure rigidity for the frame, so that an additional metal frame in the prior art for fixing a display panel together with a plastic frame can be omitted.
