  • Publication number: 20090160553
Abstract: A digital Class-D amplifier distortion suppression circuit design is disclosed. A distortion suppression feedback loop is described to improve audio performance by suppressing output stage non-linearity and improving power supply noise rejection achieving reduced THD+N. The feedback loop is placed around the power stage. It forces tracking between the audio band signals at the input and output of the power stage by automatically adjusting the gating signal timing based on sensed effective duty ratio error. Error sensing and compensation are performed using techniques that lend to simple circuit implementation.

  • Publication number: 20080247590
Abstract: An over-the-ear hook is a one-piece tube that can hold an earphone for conducting sounds to the wearer's ear canal. The tube can be adjustable to the wearer's ear shape so as to allow the over-the-ear hook to rest securely behind any wearer's ear. To form an integral unit comprising the over-the-ear hook and the earphone: snugly ensconce the cable of said earphone in the groove cut in the surface of said tube as the opening of the groove is smaller than the diameter of said cable. The earphone can be easily detached from the over-the-ear hook after use for separate storage. Under the circumstances, the earphone cable needs not enlacing the over-the-ear hook for space-saving storage and would not be damaged thereof.

  • Patent number: 7372295
Abstract: A calibration circuit block includes a first resistor network, a second resistor network, and a feedback loop. The first resistor network includes a set of transistors and receives a constant current from a constant current source. The second resistor network receives a tracking current from a tracking current source. The impedance of the second resistor network changes with temperature and process variations on the integrated circuit. The tracking current source compensates for variations in the impedance of the second resistor network that are caused by process and temperature variations to maintain a constant reference voltage at the second resistor network. The feedback loop generates calibration control signals for controlling the conductive states of the transistors in the first resistor network. The feedback loop adjusts the calibration control signals to maintain a constant impedance in the first resistor network.
