Abstract: A buckle device includes a securing member, a frame, and at least one resilient member. The securing member is adapted to be fixedly mounted on a base. The frame includes a pivoting portion pivotally connected to the securing member to enable the frame to rotate relative to the securing member, a pair of side arms respectively connected to two opposite ends of the pivoting portion, and a forearm disposed oppositely to the pivoting portion and having opposite ends that are respectively connected to the side arms. The resilient member has a secured end portion that is secured at the securing member, and an abutting end portion in abutment with the frame for biasing the frame to rotate toward the base.

Abstract: A new pneumatic load transfer and shock absorbing system is disclosed. The pneumatic system includes a layer of air-bags to perform two basic functions during a floatover installation operation: 1) lifting the platform deck from the support to create additional air gaps at the mating surfaces, and the heave motions of the lifted platform deck may be reduced; 2) performing as a shock absorbing device with variable vertical stiffness easily controlled by the air-bag internal air pressure during the mating operation and the separation operation.

Abstract: A vacuum generator includes a main body, and a nozzle body received in the intake pipe. The main body includes an intake pipe, an outlet pipe, and a vacuum pipe received in the main body. The outlet pipe can be in communication with the intake pipe, and the vacuum pipe can extend away from the intersection of the intake pipe and the outlet pipe. The nozzle body is threadedly attached to the intake pipe and the position of the nozzle body in the intake pipe can be adjustable.

The plastic frame includes an opening defined in portions where a first side wall is located, two second side walls adjacent to the first side wall, two sliding guides defined at opposite inner sides of portions of the plastic frame that are adjacent to the second side walls, and a stopping board. The opening allows the liquid crystal panel to be inserted into the plastic frame therethrough. The sliding guides communicate with the opening, and are allow the liquid crystal panel to slide into the plastic frame therealong. The stopping board abuts the peripheral regions of the liquid crystal panel for limiting the liquid crystal panel from undesirably departing from the plastic frame.

Abstract: A method and system for detecting lymph nodes in multiple complementary magnetic resonance (MR) sequences is disclosed. Anatomical landmarks, such as blood vessels, are extracted in a first MR sequence, such as an MR angiography (MRA) image. A search area is defined in at least one second MR sequence, such as a T1 weighted VIBE image, based on the anatomical landmarks extracted the first MR sequence. Lymph nodes are then detected in the search area of the second MR sequence. The lymph nodes can be detected by segmenting the search area into homogenous regions and determining whether each region is a lymph node using feature analysis.
