Abstract: A method for indicating a radio bearer (RB), implemented by a base station, includes: configuring at least one transmission function for an RB; configuring at least two transmission entities shared by the at least one transmission function; adding first information into a first indication message, the first information indicating the at least one transmission function and the at least two transmission entities; and sending the first indication message to a terminal to enable the terminal to set a transmission function and transmission entities corresponding to the RB according to the first indication message.

Abstract: A method for discarding a data packet includes: receiving an instruction message sent by a base station, the instruction message instructing start of monitoring transmission timeout of a data packet in an SDAP layer; when detecting that a target session is initiated, starting, according to the instruction message, a packet discarding timer corresponding to each data packet in a data stream of the target session in the SDAP layer; and when the packet discarding timer expires and it is detected that the data packet corresponding to the packet discarding timer fails to be transmitted, discarding the data packet corresponding to the packet discarding timer.

Abstract: A method for sending system information includes: receiving a system information (SI) request sent by at least one user equipment (UE); determining, according to the received SI request, at least one, in the SI requested by each UE, of a first SI set sent in a unicast manner and a second SI set sent in a broadcast manner; and returning, to each UE, a response message of the SI request, wherein the response message carries at least one of the first SI set of the corresponding UE and indication information for instructing the corresponding UE to receive the second SI set.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and device for turning off and turning on a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) packet replication function, a method and device for sending a media access control control element (MAC CE), a user equipment, a base station and a computer readable storage medium. The method for taming off a PDCP packet replication function comprises: receiving at least one MAC CE from a base station, the MAC CE carrying target carrier information; and turning off a PDCP packet replication function of a DRB or SRB that is mapped on a logical channel corresponding to a target carrier and the PDCP packet replication function of which is turned on according to the MAC CE.

Abstract: A method for transmitting an RRC message includes: a target buffer report corresponding to a target SRB reported by a terminal is received, where the target SRB is an SRB for transmitting a target RRC message is to be transmitted by the terminal; resource configuration is performed for the target SRB according to the target buffer report to acquire a resource configuration result; and the resource configuration result is transmitted to the terminal, so that the terminal determines a target RAN slice corresponding to the target SRB from among a plurality of RAN slices pre-configured for the terminal according to the resource configuration result, and transmits the target RRC message through the target RAN slice. As such, an RRC message may be transmitted through a plurality of RAN slices.

Abstract: A method of receiving system information (SI) includes: a first SI request for requesting a base station to broadcast at least one piece of to-be-requested SI is sent to the base station, where the at least one piece of the to-be-requested SI belongs to second type, not broadcasted SI; the at least one piece of the to-be-requested SI broadcasted by the base station in response to the first SI request is received according to pre-acquired scheduling information; upon determining that any of one or more pieces of to-be-requested SI is not successfully received, a second SI request for requesting the base station to unicast the to-be-requested SI not successfully received by present UE is sent to the base station; and the to-be-requested SI not successfully received by the present UE, which is unicasted by the base station in response to the second SI request, is received.

Abstract: A function allocating method includes receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message carrying allocation information transmitted by a base station, wherein the allocation information is used to allocate two radio link control (RLC) entities and one of a replication function and a distribution function of packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) packets to a data radio bearer (DRB) or a signaling radio bearer (SRB); and allocating, in response to the RRC message, the two RLC entities, and one of the replication function and the distribution function of the PDCP packets for the DRB or the SRB.

Abstract: A method and apparatus include determining access uniform classification information of a user equipment according to a paging message issued by a base station; matching access control information of a target cell to obtain a match result; if the equipment has been permitted to access said target cell, then issuing a random access request to the target cell. When a user equipment is paged to access a network, it is therefore possible to match, according to access uniform classification information designated for the user equipment by a base station, access control information configured on the basis of uniform classification information, and rapidly determine whether the user equipment is permitted to access a cell, thereby improving the efficiency with which the user equipment randomly accesses the network.

Abstract: The present application provides methods and systems for simulating full-system performance of a hardware device. An exemplary system for simulating full-system performance of a hardware device may include a cycle-accurate performance simulator configured to model a performance of a hardware component of a plurality of hardware components of a system, and the cycle-accurate performance simulator may include a first transactor. The system may also include a full-system simulator configured to model a performance of the plurality of hardware components of the system, and the full-system simulator includes a second transactor. The system may further include a communication mechanism between the first transactor and the second transactor, wherein the communication mechanism is configured to communicate data between the cycle-accurate performance simulator and the full-system simulator.

Abstract: A method of cell handover includes: when receiving a preset handover command transmitted by a base station for indicating a conditional handover command, determining a handover decision parameter corresponding to each target cell; when determining a target cell that meets a handover condition based on the handover decision parameter corresponding to each target cell, starting a preset timer and executing a cell handover operation from a current serving cell to the target cell that meets the handover condition; and when unsuccessfully executing the cell handover operation, recording first handover information in a radio link failure-report for reporting to the base station.

Abstract: A method for requesting system information, includes: sending a first random access request, wherein the first random access request carries at least one pilot code for identifying system information to be requested; monitoring a response message corresponding to the first random access request within a preset time period, wherein the response message carries information for responding to the at least one pilot code; and when the response message is detected, based on a pilot code identifier included in the response message, monitoring and receiving system information corresponding to the pilot code identifier within a transmission window of the system information corresponding to the pilot code identifier.

Abstract: Provided are a method for data transmission and apparatus. The method includes: receiving configuration information from a base station, the configuration information indicating whether a data packet deletion function is enabled at a PDCP entity corresponding to a preset data bearer. When the data packet deletion function is enabled, a duration for transmission of SDUs is recorded when the SDUs are transmitted from the PDCP entity corresponding to the preset data bearer to a RLC layer. A first SDU that has not yet been transmitted to the RLC layer is determined from the SDUs in a case that the duration for transmission of the SDUs is longer than a preset duration. The first SDU is deleted.

Abstract: A multi-core CPU includes a Last-Level Cache (LLC) interconnected with a plurality of cores. The LLC may include a shared portion and a private portion. The shared portion may be shared by the plurality of cores. The private portion may be connected to a first core of the plurality of cores and may be exclusively assigned to the first core. The first core may be configured to initiate a data access request to access data stored in the LLC and initiate a data access request to access data stored in the LLC. The first core may route the data access request to the private portion based on the determination that the data access request is the TLS type of access request and route the data access request to the shared portion based on the determination that the data access request is not the TLS type of access request.
