The method includes: receiving a first operation inputted by a user during first startup setting after a terminal device is reset; detecting, in response to the first operation, whether eSIM card configuration information currently exists in the terminal device; and displaying a first out-of-box experience interface when the eSIM card configuration information exists, where the first out-of-box experience interface includes first prompt information, and the first prompt information is used for prompting to set an eSIM card corresponding to the eSIM card configuration information. The terminal device detects the eSIM card configuration information, and provides a setting guidance for a user based on a detection result of the eSIM card configuration information, which can solve a problem of inefficient and inconvenient eSIM card setting.

The processing circuitry can perform a multi-user selection for data transmission on a shared radio resource from a plurality of User Equipments (UEs). The processing circuitry selects one or more of the plurality of candidate UEs in time domain based on time-domain scheduling algorithm, obtain historical throughput data and input for each selected UE. The input includes a channel state indicator including a single-user channel quality indicator (SU-CQI), a precoding matrix indicator (PMI), rank indicator, and a channel state matrix. A trained reinforcement learning agent (RL agent) using the obtained input infers a rating score for each of the plurality of UEs. The processing circuitry schedules the one or more the UEs for transmission respectively on the plurality of radio resources based on the plurality of score ratings and allocate the plurality of radio resources.

    Abstract: This document describes a radar system to universally detect direct-of-arrival (DoA) and direction-of-departure (DoD) angles in direct-path and multipath reflection conditions. For example, a radar system includes a transmitter and receiver array with a first array forming a minimum redundancy array and a second array forming a sparse uniform linear array. A processor determines, using second-array measurements, estimated angles. The quantity of estimated angles is larger than the quantity of actual angles due to angular ambiguity of the second array. The processor then identifies multiple potential sets of actual angles from among the estimated angles and tests each set under a maximum likelihood criterion using first-array measurements. The DoA and DoD angles are identified as the respective set with a maximum utility function value.
