    Abstract: The present invention provides a device and an image adjustment method by simultaneously adjusting the luminance and the chrominance of an image. The device comprises a luminance analysis device, a contrast adjusting device, a luminance adjusting device, a chrominance compensation device and a luminance gain adjusting device. The method comprises steps of: generating a maximum input luminance signal, an average input luminance signal and a minimum input luminance signal according to an input luminance signal; generating a contrast value according to at least one of the maximum input luminance signal and the average input luminance signal; generating an input luminance offset according to the input luminance signal and the minimum input luminance signal; generating an output chrominance signal according to the contrast value and an input chrominance signal; and generating an output luminance signal according to the input luminance offset and the contrast value.

The method comprises steps of: receiving a color signal of an input pixel; determining color flags and initial saturation values from the color signal by using a look-up table (LUT); obtaining user-controlled color gains according to the color flags; multiplying each of the initial saturation values with one of the corresponding user controlled color gains so as to output an adjusted saturation value; determining a final gain from each the adjusted saturation value by bilinear interpolation according lower-bits of the color signal; and obtaining a new color signal according to the final gain and the color signal.

Then calculating the quantity distribution of input gray levels of images, selecting a corresponding proportion array from the lookup table according to the proportion value between dark level and bright level, substituting the adjusted gray levels in the proportion array for the input gray levels, outputting the adjusted gray levels for adjusting the signal intensity can improve the image quality.

    Abstract: A micro-reflective liquid crystal display including an upper polarizing plate, an upper substrate having transparent electrode, a color light-filtering plate, a liquid crystal layer, an inner polarizing film, a lower substrate having transparent electrode, driving cell and storage capacitor, a lower polarizing plate and a backlight source. The inner polarizing film is deposited on one face of the lower substrate adjacent to the liquid crystal layer. The color light-filtering plate is formed with an opening corresponding to the storage capacitor, whereby external light can go in through the opening. The upper metal layer of the storage capacitor forms a reflective region for reflecting the external light to serve as a light source for the liquid crystal display. Accordingly, when exposed to outdoor sunlight, the micro-reflective liquid crystal display can still present a clear image.

The apparatus includes a storage device, a temporal noise reducing circuit, and a motion enhancing circuit. The storage device stores a first filtered signal of a previous frame. The previous frame is previous to the target frame. The temporal noise reducing circuit reduces temporal noise of the target frame according to the first filtered signal and an image signal of the target frame. The temporal noise reducing circuit then generates a second filtered signal of the target frame, which is stored in the storage device. The motion enhancing circuit enhances the motion of the target frame according to the first and the second filtered signals, and generates a motion-enhanced signal of the target frame.

The photosensitive material layer is then exposed and developed to form bumps thereon and the heat is applied to solidify the surface of the bumps. Then a reflective film is laid on the substrate and the bumps to form a reflective board.
