    Abstract: A method for background detection of a sample pipeline of a sample processor, a sample processor and a computer-readable medium are provided. The sample pipeline is configured to connect a sample probe for aspirating a sample out of a sample container to a flow cell. The method includes the following steps executed by a control device: supplying sheath liquid to the flow cell via the sample pipeline; and detecting the sheath liquid flowing through the flow cell to obtain background detection data. The method according to the present disclosure performs background detection on sample pipeline of the sample processor by using sheath liquid, omitting preparation of a specialized fluid for background detection, significantly reducing costs and avoiding introduction of impurities to increase the background when the specialized fluid is loaded into the sample processor. Therefore, the detection precision and accuracy of the sample processor can be improved.

    Abstract: In one example, a video encoder divides a superblock of a video frame into subblocks. The dividing includes dividing the superblock according to a first and second partitioning schemes to generate a first and second combination of subblocks, respectively. The number of non-zero residuals in each subblock in the first and second combinations of subblocks is less than a corresponding threshold set for a size of the subblock. The encoder determines the subblocks for the superblock as the first combination of subblocks based on a first cost value associated with the first combination of subblocks being lower than a second cost value associated with the second combination of subblocks. The encoder further encodes the superblock into a video bitstream representing the video by encoding the subblocks.

    Abstract: A system and method for estimation of a driver state based on eye gaze includes, capturing and sending, using an outward looking camera situated in a vehicle, a first video stream of surrounding environment to a neural controller. The neural controller, based on the first video stream, generates an expected gaze distribution. Using an inward looking camera situated in the vehicle, the camera captures and sends a second video stream of a face of a driver to an eye tracker controller, where based on the second video stream, the eye tracker controller extracts a plurality of gaze directions. A gaze distribution module generates, based on the plurality of gaze directions, an actual gaze distribution. A distance distribution controller, based on a difference between the expected gaze distribution and the actual gaze distribution, generates a distance measure where a determination is made that the distance measure exceeds a threshold.

    Abstract: A full speed range adaptive cruise control system for a vehicle that stops at an intersection includes one or more controllers that execute instructions to receive localization data and situational data related to the vehicle. The one or more controllers determine, based on localization data and situational data, that the vehicle is approaching an intersection and will come to a stop at the intersection, where the vehicle is part of a queue including one or more surrounding vehicles. In response to determining the vehicle has come to a stop, the controller determines a position of the vehicle within the queue and an overall length of the queue. The controller calculates an adaptive launch time based on at least the position of the vehicle within the queue, the overall length of the queue, the situational data, and a timing delay associated with the queue.

A measurement report is encoded for transmission to the SBS, the measurement report triggered based on a measurement event configured by the SBS. RRC signaling from the SBS is decoded, which includes a handover command in response to the measurement report. The handover command indicates a TDM pattern for multi-connectivity with the SBS and the TBS during the handover. UL data is encoded for transmission to the SBS. Transmission of the UL data to the SBS is time-division multiplexed with communications between the UE and the TBS during the handover based on the TDM pattern.
