    Abstract: A method is disclosed for producing denim-effect garments by the following steps: 1) printing a reactive dye ink onto a PET film to form a pattern thereby obtaining a transfer printed PET film; 2) transfer printing a base pulp-treated fabric by attaching the transfer printed PET film thereby obtaining a denim-effect fabric; 3) cutting, sewing, washing to soften, and drying the denim-effect fabric and thereby obtaining a denim-effect garment. The method has the advantages of simple production, being environmentally friendly, having high efficiency, and being suitable for flexible fabrics, and the produced denim-effect garment of the invention has the advantages of having a good color fastness to rubbing, washing resistance, and having a diversity of patterns, and are suitable for large-scale production and application.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a nitric oxide hydrogel for promoting tumor vascular normalization and radiosensitization and a preparation method thereof. The hydrogel includes a gel-forming polypeptide for forming a hydrogel and a ?-galactose-protected NO donor molecule, where the gel-forming polypeptide and the ?-galactose-protected NO donor molecule are covalently linked. In the present disclosure, the preparation method has a low synthesis cost, and adopts daily essential amino acid of the human body as raw materials, showing desirable biocompatibility. The hydrogel acts as a NO reservoir for continuous NO delivery on demand, which significantly solves the problem of a short half-life of NO molecules. Most importantly, the hydrogel releases NO only under the catalysis of ?-galactosidase (?-Gal), with a release amount precisely controlled by an enzyme concentration.

    Abstract: A device and a method for detecting cigarette fly ash by a gray-scale difference based on machine vision (MV) are provided. A manipulator holds a cigarette as a detection sample to simulate a human smoking action, and multiple groups of cameras track a simulated smoking process of the detection sample synchronously in real time. It is determined whether fly ash appears based on a gray-scale difference of burning ash columns, produced without being subjected to flicking, in acquired images. A fly ash area of the burning ash columns of the cigarette is calculated by an area with the gray-scale difference of the burning ash columns of the cigarette in two sequential images of the burning ash columns of the cigarette, and a fly ash amount is further determined. The detection of the amount of fine fly ash is converted into the detection of the gray-scale difference.

The density of the foam stock can be from 10 lb/ft3 to 35 lb/ft3. The flexural strength of the foam stock can be at least 100 psi. The resulting foam stock can be used to produce polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foam to be used in composite panels.
