  • Publication number: 20100077235
Abstract: A mobile communication device includes a control circuit unit, a first interface, a status change detecting circuit, and an embedded controller. The control circuit unit is operated in either a normal working mode or a power-saving mode. The first interface is connected with the data card and the control circuit unit. The status change detecting circuit is connected with the first interface. The embedded controller is connected with the status change detecting circuit and the control circuit unit. If the control circuit unit is operated in the power-saving mode and the data card is switched from a standby status to a working status, the data card generates a status-changing signal to the status change detecting circuit. In response to the status-changing signal, the control circuit unit is controlled to be switched from the power-saving mode to the normal working mode by the embedded controller.

  • Publication number: 20100074380
Abstract: A coupling channel noise canceling circuit includes a signal detecting unit, a gain setting unit, a cancel signal generating unit, and a noise canceling unit. The signal detecting unit detects a phase difference and a voltage difference between a broadcast RX signal and a noise cancel signal in a set mode. The gain setting unit outputs compensation gain values corresponding to the phase difference and the voltage difference from the signal detecting unit in the set mode. The cancel signal generating unit sets the compensation gain values from the gain setting unit as an amplification gain for amplification of a communication TX signal in the set mode, and amplifies the communication TX signal by a predetermined gain to generate the noise cancel signal in the set mode and an operation mode. The noise canceling unit cancels an interference noise from the broadcast RX signal by using the noise cancel signal from the cancel signal generating unit in the operation mode.

  • Publication number: 20100072067
Abstract: Provided is a method for screening a biological molecule rapidly and economically with high-throughput using microbeads encoded with silver nanoparticles and a chemical compound and dielectrophoresis. A biological screening method particularly utilizes microbeads encoded with silver nanoparticles and a specific chemical compound and dielectrophoresis. Since this screening method does not use a fluorescent material and a dying agent, which are typically used in the conventional screening method, it is non-toxic and economical. Also, this screening method allows simultaneous identification of many target materials. Accordingly, a leading compound can be screened within a short period of time, and thus, this screening method can be implemented as an economical and effective system for developing new pharmaceutical products.
