    Abstract: An application component communication method and an apparatus using the same are provided to an SCA-based system for efficiently performing data communication between SCA-based application components by using a dynamic connection manager. The application component communication apparatus includes an application module provided in the SCA-based system and driven, an application packaged by a plurality of application components, and an application factory for generating the application and driving the application components by parsing XML files. The dynamic connection manager registers port information of each of the application components, and establishes a connection for data communication between the application components according to the port information. According to the present invention, data communication between the respective application components can be efficiently performed by using the dynamic connection manager.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a compound semiconductor substrate and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention provides the manufacturing method which coats spherical balls on a substrate, forms a metal layer between the spherical balls, removes the spherical balls to form openings, and grows a compound semiconductor layer from the openings. According to the present invention, the manufacturing method can be simplified and grow a high quality compound semiconductor layer rapidly, simply and inexpensively, as compared with a conventional ELO (Epitaxial Lateral Overgrowth) method or a method for forming a compound semiconductor layer on a metal layer. And, the metal layer serves as one electrode of a light emitting device and a light reflecting film to provide a light emitting device having reduced power consumption and high light emitting efficiency.

    Abstract: A heated eyelash curler comprise a curling head portion having an arcuate top surface on one end and a protection case on the other end. The protection case serves as a handle and also encloses the power source. A heating element is laid on the arcuate top surface caged inside a plurality of bridges or protected between protruding comblike spikes. The curler includes a pigmented silicone piece which changes in color corresponding to the temperature of the heating element as indicator. The heating element comprises a conducting coil or wire in zigzag configuration inserted into a conducting tube. The circuitry includes a converter for boosting the voltage of the power source which hastens the rise in temperature of the heating element and this in combination with the heating element having the conducting coil or wire in zigzag configuration, provide a more stable and even heating.

    Abstract: A semiconductor memory module having a reverse mounted chip resistor, and a method of fabricating the same are provided. By reverse mounting the chip resistor on the semiconductor memory module, the resistive material is protected, thereby preventing open circuits caused by damage to the resistive material. Also, a chip-resistor connection pad of a module substrate is formed to extend higher from the module substrate than other connection pads connected to other elements. Thus, the resistive material of the chip resistor does not contact the module substrate, thereby preventing poor alignment and defective connections.
