The output buffer includes an output buffer initialization circuit activating an output buffer reset signal in response to the power up or power down of the semiconductor memory device and deactivating the output buffer reset signal in response to a first command signal output from a controller of the semiconductor memory device, and an output driver generating output data based on a data signal in response to a clock signal, a data enable signal, and the output buffer reset signal.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a non-volatile memory device and a method of erasing the non-volatile memory device. An erase voltage is simultaneously applied to a plurality of sectors contained in the non-volatile memory device. Then, erase validation is sequentially performed for each of the plurality sectors and results of the erase validation are stored in a plurality of pass information registers. According to the results stored in the pass information registers, sectors which were not successfully erased are simultaneously re-erased and then sequentially re-validated until no such “failed sectors” remain in the non-volatile memory device. Upon eliminating the “failed sectors” from the non-volatile memory device, a post-program operation is sequentially performed on each of the plurality of sectors.

    Abstract: Provided is a key for a portable terminal. The key includes a metallic case including a plated layer exposed to the outside of the portable terminal and an electro-forming layer formed on the inner side of the plated layer and a synthetic resin layer formed on the inner side of the electro-forming layer. The synthetic resin layer is formed on the inner side of the electro-forming layer by mounting the metallic case in a mold and performing insert injection. Since the key includes the electro-forming layer made of copper and the plated layer plated on the electro-forming layer on a surface for forming the exterior, it can be easily manufactured and can contribute to improvement of the exterior design of the portable terminal.

The BMS includes a sensor and an MCU unit. The sensor detects temperature, current, and open circuit voltage (OCV) of the battery. The MCU receives the detected temperature, current, and OCV, calculates a key-off time period which is a period between a time point when a battery key-on state ends and a time point when a subsequent battery key-on state begins, calculates an OCV error range corresponding to an SOC error range detected at the key-off time point, and infers an initial SOC of the battery.

The shaft includes a cam (32), a soleplate (38), and an interconnecting neck (34). The cam includes a cam surface (324) at one end thereof, the cam surface including peaks and valleys. The spring and the shaft are received in the shell, but with the soleplate exposed outside. The spring biases the cam surface against the bolts no matter what part of the cam surface abuts the bolts. Because the hinge assembly of the present invention is effectively an integrated, modular structure, it is easily incorporated into a portable foldable device such as a mobile phone.
