    Abstract: A vehicle control system includes: an operation element configured to detect a first operation and a second operation by an occupant; and a control device configured to execute acceleration control, deceleration control, and constant speed control when a vehicle moves forward. The acceleration control is control to accelerate the vehicle in response to the first operation. The deceleration control is control to decelerate the vehicle in response to the second operation. When the first operation ends, the control device sets a vehicle speed at an end of the first operation to a target vehicle speed in a case where a vehicle state does not satisfy a prescribed condition, and sets a prescribed value higher than the vehicle speed at the end of the first operation to the target vehicle speed in a case where the vehicle state satisfies the prescribed condition.
