The method includes: A transmit end sends a first frame to a receive end, where the first frame includes a service field, the service field includes a first field, the first field indicates whether a bandwidth mode indication field carried in the first frame is allowed to indicate a target bandwidth mode, and the target bandwidth mode includes one or more of bandwidth modes other than 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 80 MHz, and 80+80 MHz or 160 MHz.

Abstract: A data scheduling method and apparatus. The method includes: allocating, by an access point (AP), at least one of a plurality of primary channels to each of a plurality of stations (STAs), where active access is forbidden on the plurality of primary channels; and synchronously scheduling, by the AP, a STA on a channel including at least one idle primary channel, where the synchronously scheduled STA is a STA allocated to the at least one idle primary channel, and the at least one idle primary channel is at least one of the plurality of primary channels. The AP sets the plurality of primary channels, so that the AP can flexibly schedule the station by using the idle primary channel. This avoids a problem caused by setting only one primary channel, thereby improving data transmission efficiency.

Abstract: This application discloses a multi-link establishment method and a related device. A multi-link association response frame carries radio bitmap information, to indicate an AP allowed to be associated with a radio of a STA MLD or a link allowed to be established by using a radio of a STA MLD, so that the radio subsequently switches between different APs or links. The multi-link association response frame carries link establishment status information, to indicate a link establishment status of each link that the STA MLD requests to establish, so that multi-link establishment is more flexible. The multi-link association response frame carries reassociation information, to indicate whether each parameter in association configuration information is reserved, so that a problem that signaling overheads are relatively large due to a reassociation operation is avoided. It can be learned that, in the multi-link establishment method, the foregoing information is carried to improve multi-link establishment flexibility.

Abstract: A joint transmission method includes sending, using a first access point (AP), a buffer indication to a second AP instructing the second AP to buffer first data, sending the first data to a station (STA), receiving a response frame from the STA, determining, based on the response frame, whether a joint transmission procedure needs to be initiated, sending a joint transmission indication to a third AP in response to determining to initiate the joint transmission procedure, where the joint transmission indication instructs the third AP to send second data to the STA, where the second data comprises all or a part of the first data, and where the third AP is the second AP, and sending the second data.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an information transmission method, an information transmission device, a communication device and a readable storage medium. The information transmission method includes: obtaining OAM information from an optical network; encapsulating the obtained OAM information to form an OAM frame, the OAM frame including N data frames each having a frame length of L, N varying along with a volume of the OAM information, L being a constant value regardless of the volume of the OAM information; and transmitting the OAM frame. The OAM information is transmitted in a length-constant frame, so it is able to facilitate encoding and decoding of a message, simplifying the processing and reduce the time consumption, and facilitate the extension in accordance with a message content and ensure the extendibility, thereby to solve such problems as complicated processing, being time-consuming, and poor extendibility in the conventional OAM information transmission scheme.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for indicating a channel in a wireless local area network WLAN. A sending station generates and sends a physical protocol data unit PPDU, the PPDU includes a preamble field and a data field, a high efficiency signal field HE-SIG-A of the preamble field includes a bandwidth identifier and a channel bonding identifier, and the channel bonding identifier is used to indicate whether a data transmission channel is continuous in a frequency domain. In the foregoing manner, a discontinuous channel in a frequency domain in a wireless local area network is indicated, an available channel for data transmission is improved, and a system throughput is increased.

Abstract: This application relates to the wireless communication field, and in particular, to critical basic service set (BSS) parameter management methods and apparatus applicable to multiple links, for example, in a wireless local area network supporting the 802.11 be standard. In an example method includes, a first access point (AP) in a first access point multi-link device (AP MLD) generates and sends a first frame. The first frame indicates critical BSS parameter update count values corresponding to a plurality of APs in the first AP MLD and critical BSS parameter update count values corresponding to a plurality of APs in a second AP MLD. The second AP MLD is an AP MLD to which a nontransmitted AP belongs. The nontransmitted AP is in a multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set including the first AP.

Abstract: A link error recovery method applied to a transmitter MLD is provided. Links between the transmitter MLD and a receiver MLD include a first link and a second link, and one of the transmitter MLD and the receiver MLD has an STR capability while the other does not have the STR capability. The method includes: determining that transmission of a first PPDU on the first link fails; and transmitting a second PPDU to the receiver MLD at a first moment by using the first link, the second PPDU being used to retransmit an error part in the first PPDU. The first moment is a moment at which the transmitter MLD obtains transmission status information of the second link. Alternatively, the first moment is a moment for transmitting a next PPDU on the first link if the first PPDU is normally transmitted.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a probe request and response technology between a station and a plurality of access point multi-link devices (AP MLDs). During implementation of this application, a station may obtain communication parameters of a plurality of APs of one or more AP MLDs by sending one probe request frame, to obtain communication parameters of the AP MLD on a plurality of links, thereby efficiently implementing association between the station and the AP MLD or establishing multi-link transmission between the station and the AP MLD.

In an example method, a first access point (AP) of a first access point multi-link device (AP MLD) generates and sends individually addressed traffic indication information. The individually addressed traffic indication information is used to indicate whether a non-AP MLD associated with the first AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic and whether a non-AP MLD associated with a second AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic. Abstract: A channel contention method includes performing, by a first station and a second station of a multi-link device (MLD), channel contention based on a first enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) parameter; generating, by the first station and the second station, a point coordination function (PCF) inter-frame space (PIFS) access timer when the first station performs EDCA access and the second station performs PIFS access; and performing, by the first station and the second station, channel contention based on a second EDCA parameter before the PIFS access timer backs off to 0.

Abstract: In a method for indicate simultaneous transmit and receive (STR) capability in a Wi-Fi system, a first multi-link device (MLD) generates and sends STR capability information that indicates interference parameter information between a first link using a first bandwidth and a second link using a second bandwidth. A second device receives the STR capability information and obtains an interference parameter threshold. The second device then determines, based on the interference parameter threshold and the interference parameter information, whether the first MLD supports an STR operation on the first link and the second link.

The method includes: A reporting AP sends a management frame to a station. The reporting AP belongs to a first AP MLD, and belongs to a multiple BSSID set. The management frame includes MLD information. The MLD information carries, by using different types of MLD elements and a multiple BSSID element, for example, information about another AP in the MLD to which the AP belongs, information about the multiple BSSID set to which the AP belongs, and information about an AP in a multiple BSSID set including the another AP in the MLD to which the AP belongs. The station obtains information about the reporting AP and other information about a reported AP based on the management frame.
