Abstract: The present invention provides a mobile communication terminal that enables advanced operability and flexibility in user operation while maintaining portability. This mobile communication terminal includes an image projection unit 130, a key selection detection unit (an operation detection means) 180, and a main control unit (a data processing means) 111. The image projection unit 130 projects an operation-plane image that virtually displays the operation-plane of an operation device operated by users. The key selection detection unit 180 detects operation on the operation-plane image (key layout image) projected by the image projection unit 130. The main control unit 111 executes a predetermined data process, based on the detection results of operation detected by the key selection detection unit 180.

Abstract: An image-sensing game-controlling device comprises a detector and a controller, wherein the detector comprises a X-axial digital camera, a Y-axial digital camera, and a Z-axial digital camera, and the controller comprises an image integrator, an image comparator, and a motion database. Besides, the detector is connected to the controller for transmitting image signals and the controller is connected to a game machine for transmitting control signals. When the player makes motions, the digital cameras capture the motion images continuously. Thereafter, the captured motion images are temporarily stored in the image integrator and updated instantaneously for being compared with the motion data stored in the motion database. Thereafter, the comparison results are transmitted to the image integrator so as to output corresponding motion signals to the game machine for enabling the virtual game role to make the corresponding motions.

A portion of the face mesh sequence is then fitted to an image of the face. For example, a first frame of the face mesh sequence is fitted to the image. The face image is then projected onto the portion of the face mesh based on the fitting. Also, a hair model may be generated and fitted onto the face mesh sequence. Additionally, changes in color differences between sequences of the face mesh may be computed. The face mesh sequence is then played to create a facial animation sequence for the face image. The color differences that were created may also be added to the sequences as they are being played. Abstract: Described is a technology by which a computer display may quickly resume outputting video data following its awakening from a deep sleep state. Displayed settings are maintained in a memory, such as a memory of the display, while the display is in a sleep state. The settings are associated with a token maintained by a host computer system and display. Upon a need to awaken the display to output video data, the host computer system and the display communicate the token, whereby the display may confirm whether maintained settings are still valid for actual use with the host's video signals. If still valid, the display restores the maintained display settings as actual display settings. The restoring of previously maintained display settings is ordinarily significantly faster than conventional mechanisms that are presently used to configure a display upon wakeup, resulting in the user perceiving a near-instantaneous wakeup of a display.

Abstract: An image processing method is provided for generating multi-color data comprised of three primary-color sub-pixels and a brightness-enhancing sub-pixel, where a combination selected three at a time from these sub-pixels constituting a target pixel for the image processing method. First, a three-color pixel is converted into a four-color pixel, where the sub-pixels of the four-color pixel identical with those of the target pixel are represented by first numerical values, and the sub-pixel of the four-color pixel different to that of the target pixel is represented by a second numerical value. Then, the first numerical values are correlated with third numerical values discarded by neighboring pixels of the target pixel to determine the actual output of the target pixel.

Abstract: A computer system, preferably in the form of a craft kit, is provided for converting a picture composed of color regions distributed throughout the picture into a line drawing in which each of these regions can be delineated to define a zone. The zone can have a symbol which identifies the color. The system includes a computer whose video display terminal is coupled to a printer to print out the displayed image. A digital image is fed into the computer and the image processed to produce the line drawing which is displayed on the terminal and transferred by the printer to a sheet. The digital image on the sheet is then transferred to a material, such as a T-shirt, for example by a stencil prepared from the printed sheet.

Abstract: A system and method for managing memory for color transforms. Color input data representing a colorized electronic document is first received by a color management module and analyzed. The. color transformations required to complete processing of the color document is then determined. A plurality of lookup tables are then generated in system memory in accordance with the determined color transformations specified by the analysis of the color input data. A counter, corresponding to a lookup table for each request for a related color transform is then selectively incremented and decremented, based upon the output and determinations of the color management module. The color management module then selectively clears a lookup tables in the associated system memory when a corresponding counter value has been decremented to a selected level.

Abstract: A method and system for processing an image is provided. The method and system are used to enhance the sharpness of the image. First, an input pixel value is filtered for producing a filter value. Afterwards, an output pixel value is determined according to whether the compensation value is higher than the threshold value. If the compensation value is higher than the threshold value, the output pixel value is the input pixel value merged with the threshold value. If the compensation value is not higher than the threshold, the output pixel value is the input pixel value merged with the compensation value.

A two-dimensional graphical user interface having a first control portion associated with rotation about a first axis and a second control portion associated with rotation about a second axis is displayed. An indication that at least one of the first control portion and the second control portion has been engaged is received. A controlled object associated with the graphical user interface is rotated about the axis or respective axes with which the engaged control portion or portions of the graphical user interface are associated.

Abstract: A display apparatus adapted for a display wall, an image adjustment method therefor and a display wall therewith are provided. The image between display apparatuses of the display wall is not exactly displayed, especially for adjacent areas between every two neighbored display apparatuses, and the displayed image is required to be adjusted for the defects. The image adjustment method includes receiving a video signal and then setting an initial image capture area in a scaler of each of display apparatuses in the display wall for selecting and scaling a part of the video image and transmitting the part to a digital display element of the display apparatus for display. Then based on the whole image displayed on the display wall by combining the image displayed on each of the display apparatuses, sequentially adjusts the image displayed by each of the display apparatuses. While adjusting the size of the image, one side of an image capture area is fixed and the length of the image capture area is adjusted.

Abstract: An improved graphics processing system and method are described for magnifying visual output information for printing, display, or other output. A graphics engine transforms display information so as to magnify one or more components or areas of an output image for display via output hardware such as a screen or printer. Magnification parameters are supplied to the graphics engine by one or more magnification applications. In an embodiment of the invention, the graphics engine performs compositing of magnified and unmagnified content for display. In an alternative embodiment, the graphics engine outputs corresponding scaled image material to the appropriate magnification application for rendering. In a further embodiment, the graphics engine may operate in both modes.

A representative system incorporates two pairs of shift registers, each of the shift registers outputting a shifting signal; two pairs of logic gates; and a switching network coupled among the shifting registers and the logic gates. In a low resolution mode, the switching network causes the shift registers to output shifting signals, with corresponding pulses of the shifting signals of the shift registers of the first pair temporally overlapping with corresponding pulses of the shifting signals of the shift registers of the second pair; and wherein, responsive to the shifting signals, the logic gates output panel control signals, with corresponding pulses of the panel control signals of the logic gates of the first pair not temporally overlapping with corresponding pulses of the panel control signals of the logic gates of the second pair.
