Abstract: A protective sports glove that includes a protective knuckle system introduced to the outside of the glove in the finger and thumb portions that includes a flexible base portion that is sewn or otherwise affixed to the underlying inner layer and located over a wearer's knuckles. The flexible base portion includes at least one protruding portion extending upwardly and outwardly from the flexible base section opposite the inner layer. Coupled within or to the ends of each of the respective protruding portion is a knuckle cap portion. The knuckle cap portions are located in the gaps between the padded portions of the finger and thus provide protection to the knuckle of the wearer where the fingers or thumb are flexed and align when the finger or thumb are not flexed.

  • Publication number: 20080244798
Abstract: A protective sports glove having a protective finger knuckle system introduced to the back portion of the finger portions to cover a space formed between adjacent pads corresponding to the knuckles of the fingers. The protective finger knuckle system includes a cap portion and a pair of side flanges that have a pair of slots. A strap is passed through the pair of slots on each of the pair of side flanges and beneath the cap portion and is secured to the glove. The cap portion spans the gaps between the protective portions of the fingers and the thumb and thus provide protection to the knuckles of the wearer where the fingers or thumb are flexed. Because the protective knuckle portion is not coupled to the pads defining the gap, they are maintained in position over the widening gap as the finger is flexed.

Abstract: A control method of a washing machine reliably guarantees a rinsing performance, and a minimized number of rinsing cycles is performed. The method includes: circulating detergent water collected in a tub through a circulation passage during a washing cycle; supplying a voltage to a pair of electrodes made of different materials and installed on the circulation passage to determine whether a quantity of detergent contained in the detergent water is excessive; circulating rinsing water collected in the tub through the circulation passage during a rinsing cycle; detecting a magnitude (I2) of a current flowing through the rinsing water by supplying the voltage to the pair of electrodes; and comparing the detected magnitude (I2) of the current with a reference value (Ir), and finishing the rinsing cycle when the detected magnitude (I2) is equal to or less than the reference value (Ir).

Abstract: A modular pedestrian bridge (10) is disclosed. In its simplest form, the bridge (10) includes: a span module (12) having a tunnel (14) sufficient to allow pedestrians to travel through the tunnel (14), the tunnel (14) being defined by a floor (16) and a top (18), defining a height (20), sides (22) defining a width (24) and upper and lower connectors (26) and (28), a tower module (30), a stair assembly (32), the tunnel (14) having sufficient dimensions to allow the tower module (30) to be telescopically fit into the tunnel (14) and the span module (12) being adapted to fit on a chassis or flat bed truck of a vehicle. The bridge (10) is configured to simplify assembly and disassembly and is adapted to fit on a chassis, flat bed truck and the like. The span module (12) is dimensioned, such that it does not have special freight requirements, possibly triggering state and federal escort laws for extra wide or long loads.

Abstract: This invention discloses a roller brush used in swimming pool cleaner, including the roller body and the roller brush wrapped around the roller body. The inner side of roller brush in contact with the roller body outer surface. The roller body has a number of detent posts or grooves. The roller brush inner surface has a number of corresponding grooves or posts. Certain number of detent posts engages with grooves enable the roller brush and roller body positive interlock. For this reason, this roller brush invention allows positive and synchronize drive between roller body and roller brush, avoiding slipping drive. Moreover, this invention has simple construction, easy manufacture and assembly. This invention does not need to apply too much tension on the roller brush, reducing the flexible roller brush aging rate. It is therefore product life extended and maintenance cost lowered.
