Abstract: A shield harness manufacturing device includes a sheet feeder, a conductor-winding mold, an insulator-winding mold, and a control unit. The conductor-winding mold winds an ALS sheet as an electrically conductive sheet around a wire bundle including at least one covered wire and at least one drain wire. The insulator-winding mold folds a PET sheet as an electrically insulating sheet into two halves and then wraps the ALS-wound wire bundle in the PET sheet over the entire length of the wire bundle. The sheet feeder feeds the ALS sheet into the conductor-winding mold through which the covered wire and the drain wire are passed. The ALS sheet is wound around the covered wire and the drain wire over the entire length of the wires. Thereafter, the ALS-wound wire bundle is inserted into the insulator-winding mold and the sheet feeder feeds the PET sheet into the insulator-winding mold.

A central core (20) is positioned to occupy a space that will define a central channel (42), and an outer channel core (30) is positioned spaced apart from the central core (20). A mold (35) is formed around the central core (20) and the outer channel core (30), so that an exterior wall (32) contacts the mold (35). Abstract: When manufacturing welded blisk drums for gas-turbine engines, two or more integrally bladed blisks are joined to a blisk drum by welding, with this drum being subsequently heat-treated. In the final processing step, the blisk blades are polished, with the blisk drum as a whole being immerged into a flowable, pasty abrasive medium, and with a relative movement between the blisk drum and the abrasive medium being generated by translation and/or vibration and/or rotation of the blisk drum or a tub containing the abrasive medium. In order to avoid changes in shape of the blade edges during polishing, relative movement in these areas is prevented by guiding elements. The blade edges may also be masked, or surplus material may be provided on the blade edges, which afterwards is removed during grinding.

The sole has an upper sole member, a lower sole member, and at least one inflatable bladder disposed between the upper sole member and the lower sole member. The at least one inflatable bladder has an inflated state and a deflated state. A distance between the upper sole member and the lower sole member is greater in the inflated state than the deflated state. Varying the inflation of the inflatable bladder varies the amount of cushioning in the sole and the thickness of the sole so that the shoe can serve as a multipurpose shoe for activities requiring different amounts of cushioning.

Abstract: A device for limiting, controlling, and disposing of lead particles released from a firearm's openings and leakage areas rear of the muzzle. The device is composed of a cylindrical clear polycarbonate enclosure mounted on an aluminum frame which encloses the firearm and the shooters hands. A small opening at the rear of the cylinder allows the firearm muzzle to discharge the projectile. A restricted opening at the front of the cylinder allows the shooter to place hands and firearm within the enclosure. The clear Polycarbonate provides light entry and visibility while affording the shooter some protection against a malfunctioning firearm. The enclosure is under negative air pressure in relation to the environment outside the enclosure. The negative air pressure is provided by either the bullet retention system that the device is mounted to or separately by a connection to a commercially available High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter vacuum.
